Let's move in the Merry Month of May!

This is our monthly exercise challenge thread. All are welcome, whether your goal is to walk ten minutes a day or train for a marathon.

State your goal and track it throughout the month with a supportive group encouraging each other to meet our goals. We'll compile our exercise goals into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration.

I'll be on vacation for part of month. I'll be walking a lot, but I don't want to count the minutes, so I'm going to set my goal lower this month to count the exercise when I'm not out of town.

My Goal for May - to fit into that dress I saved for Memorial Day weekend :D

May 1 - ran!! :carrot: 20 mins treadmill (increasing speed by .1 KILLS it yo!), 30 mins elliptical!! Thought of attempting 30DS, epic fail!!
May 2 - 20 mins treadmill (getting the hang of running :D), 30 mins elliptical, weights (adductors, abductors, torso)
May 3 - 20 mins treadmill. 5 mins elliptical. (slow night cos of rush to match train schedule)
May 4 - 40 mins on the road.. running / walking (was soooooooo darn self conscious :o)
May 5 - 20 mins treadmill (running is getting tougher with speed.. LOVE it), 30 mins elliptical !! :carrot:
May 6 - stairs to 6th floor office, 20 mins running on treadmill, 30 mins elliptical, torso and lower back strength!
May 7 - stairs up 6 floors at work, 20 mins treadmill, 30 mins elliptical, torso!!
May 8 - stairs @ work & that's it :( (i dont even know why i didnt go to the gym)

Tabbycat, I think this is a great goal! I'm slowly working my way to attempt a long mileage (for me at least) running goal, but I'm not quite there yet. Doing a combination mileage goal seems to be the next best thing for me.

i am in for this challenge!

i will count hours, and i will aim for 20 hours

my goal is to start running again, so i will aim for 3 times a week, starting at 2km on day one, and seeing progress each time even if it is 100 meters.

goal number two is stupid but... GO TO THE GYM! 3 times a week would be great. is the last month i have my membership, it's stupid not to use it!

So, April turned out to be a total fail after the wedding happened (wedding = win, exercise vacation = FAIL). Let's try again, shall we?

My goal is to do kettlebell workouts for at 320 minutes this month in honor of my 32nd birthday. I'll do other wrokouts, but for getting back on track, I'm setting my stated goal modestly.

I'll track my mileage/speed progress too (I'm hoping to see some improvements by the end of the month), but my goal is really to just make the time to run a couple times per week.
