to the challenge ilovemo, grasshopper & Lauren. Welcome back Kim I hope we all have a great month.
Lauren - It sounds like you have your plan in place for New Orleans and that's how to do it. The food there is so good but I know you'll be okay.
I'm planning on having an OP day. It's raining so I won't get to walk but I will do a DVD. I did my Jan 1 weigh in at it was 226.8 I will not be here long!.
I'm in. I've updated my ticker to reflect my 5 pound gain in the past month or so - egad!! It's time to stop feeling sorry for myself and get back to feeling better about myself.
I started the day by doing Leslie Sansone's 3 mile program (on You Tube). I was really impressed with how much I was sweating! I did another shorter program too, 15 minutes with a lot of lunges and squats. I enjoyed it and will be doing it regularly.
So, my goals:
1. Track calories every day on Lose It.
2. Exercise every day.
3. Cut waaaaay back on sugar and carbs.
4. Be more positive.
Hi Steph - I'm glad you're back and committed. I'm sure you'll get those 5 pounds off very quickly. It's been a long time since I've done Leslie but I used to really enjoy doing her workouts. I hope you have a great month.
So far I've had a good day and I've stayed OP and am drinking lots of water (almost living in the bathroom) I have been watching weight loss shows on Discovery Health all day and it is motivating me and helping me get through the day OP. I am going to take it one hour at a time.

Tonight I am having a hard time sticking to my goal of not eating after 7:30. I am not hungry but I have a strong urge to snacik. I just chewed a stick of Extra gum hoping it will help.
I'm still on vacation until Thursday. I have been trying to eat better while i've been here and I think I have at least not gained any weight (I don't know, though...they don't have a working scale), which is pretty good for me for christmas time. Friday I will kick everything into high gear. Until then, i'm just trying not to stuff my face.
Happy New Year everyone! Count me in again. Check in here has really helped me with my goals. I have a busy month ahead of me, but I will check in when I can.
My stay on plan goals for January 2013:
Continue doing well with my eating and workout habits.
Eat more larger lunches and lighter dinners.
Add more lentils to my diet.
Continue logging my daily food plans, workouts and water intake.
Research making the transition from weight loss mode to maintaining.
Tyla & Sunnyside - Glad you're joining in for another month. You both have been so motivating and I'm looking forward to a great month.
Rachel - Enjoy the rest of your vacation and great job on trying to stay in control.
Last night was soooo hard but I made it without eating anything after 7:30 and I stayed 100% OP. No snacking!! I'm hoping tonight will be a lot easier.
