January 2013 Challenge to Stay "On Plan" Daily Check-in
 
Our main goal on this thread is to stay ON PLAN (or OP for short) with whatever weight loss plan you're following. Everyone is welcome to join in.

Let's all get the new year off to a great start with our fitness plans.

January 2013 Challenge:

1. Stay ON PLAN during the month. Challenge yourself to be OP with your eating & exercise for the month. Be sure to come here to the board if you feel like you are going to go off-course and need some support!
2. Set a weight loss goal only if you feel comfortable doing so.
3. Set a goal of how many days you’d like to do some form of exercise every week.
4. Set a goal of how many days you’re going to VISIT THE THREAD and check in with us. The accountability is important and a great way to stay on track.

Anything else you’d like to track here for the month, please do so! Feel free to track your daily eating, daily exercising...anything you'd like! We are here for each other because we're all here for a common goal: to be healthy, fit and happy!! For those who are struggling, why not re-commit and let today be your turnaround. WE CAN DO IT so let's all have a great month

My goals for January are:

1. Get back 100% OP
2. Workout at least 4 times a week
3. No snack eating in the car
4. Do not focus on the scale - Try to weigh once a month
5. Journal daily
6. Post here at least once a day
7. Only eat when I'm hungry
8. No eating after 7:30 pm

My goals for 2013:
Reach my goal of 165 by 12/31/13
Stay focused and committed to my weight loss journey for 12 months
If I slip or fall of the wagon, do not stay off track for more than 1 day

Sounds great!!! My goals: stat op all January. One limited free meal a week. No more then two drinks, once a week. Work out four times a week. Weigh myself in one month. I am ready to face this :) Thanks in advance for all your help to come, I know I'll b needing it!

Howdy! I was in the August stay on plan thread. It helped so much...so now i'm back!

My goals for January:

1. Track calories every day with myfitnesspal
2. Drink plenty of water every day
3. Exercise at least 3 times a week
4. Start C25k
5. Continue increasing pushup ability
6. Post here often
7. Lose at least 6 lbs

I look forward to chatting with everyone that joins! I'm ready for the New Year!

January Goals:
1. Take a class or do 30 minutes of cardio 3-4 times a week (every other day, minimum!)
2. Join Weight Watchers (decide about meetings or online!)
3. Be active on 3FC's. I NEED the support!
4. No soda. Switching from Coke to Coffee won't kill me!

Good morning everyone,

:welcome: to the January challenge Rintin & GirlieJayhawk and welcome back Rachel. I am so looking forward to a great month. I have had my fill of junk food and am so excited to be back on track. Starting today, I am going low sugar and low carbs just to get myself back on track and to get rid of my cravings. I have been reading success stories and I really want to be able to write my success story this time next year.

I am looking forward to hearing about everyone's successes this month.

January Goals:

*Staying OP fully and not giving up on myself
*Exercise 5 days a week
*Get out of the 230s for good
*Lose about 5-7 lbs for the month of January
*Run at least two days a week
*Check in on this thread and the board 5 days a week

:welcome2: to the challenge Pink Hurricane. Yes I AM going to do this in 2013. I just need to stay committed and focused. I look forward to hearing about your successes too.

I'm off to a great start today. I've eaten 100% OP and I'm about to head out for a 2 mile walk at Stn Mtn. This morning the scale read 227.2 which is up from my last W/I but it has motivated me to stick to my plan today.

My first day back on track went very good. I ate good and I did my 2 mile walk. I was in Walmart and I looked at all the Xmas candies that was on clearance but I refused to buy any. Instead, I bought a Xmas cactus and 2 candles. It felt really good that I was able to resust the goodies. I hope everyone else had a good day. We are going to have a great year:carrot:

I want to lose 50 lbs before july, which gives me plenty of time.
My largest goal would be to lose 100lbs by 2014, if I stay op I believe I will make it (:

Glad you found us Babybat. I would like to lose 50 pounds by July too. We just need to take it one meal at a time.

I'm in too. I need to start this year off right.

January Goals:
1) Exercise 30 minutes everyday.
2) Stay low crabs and low sugar.
3) Drink my water everyday.
4) Weigh every morning.

Hello! GettinFit, I'm so glad to find you here still fighting the good fight. I've been Waaaaaaaaaaaay off track for a while now. But I'm really trying to find the motivation to make this the year I finally get where I want to go. I've gained.. a lot. Not even sure where I'm at right now, I haven't weighted in a couple weeks. I'll find out the sad news tomorrow. =P I probably wont stay active in this threat like I used to, I just don't have the time I used to have and I already have to check in on a challenge I joined.

I wanted to say hi though and wish you and everyone a happy new year! =)

Happy new year!

1- I need to get back to calorie counting.
2- I would love to workout 5 times a week.
3- I want to lose 10 pounds in January.
4- I'll try and check in once a day, but thrice weekly sounds more doable.

I am going to New Orleans for a week. I want to enjoy the food there but not over indulge. I want to jog every morning I'm there to offset the extra calories I'll consume. I don't want to feel guilty for enjoying food.I want to make better decisions.

Goals for January -

* Lose ten lbs
* No chocolate all month
* Workout 5x/week
* Stay away from trigger foods
* Low carb diet.
