This is the monthly thread where we set goals related to weight loss. Is there a habit that you want to break or develop? Or a new strategy you want to take on as an experiment? Or a number that you want to see on the scale?
State your goal here and track it through the month with a supportive group. At the end of the month, listed goals that are achieved get turned RED in celebration.

My August goal is to average under 1650 calories a day.
This is very do-able as I've been doing it from the beginning, but I'm articulating the goal just to stay on track. The scale has not been moving lately, but I'm using one belt notch in (yay!) so I know my effort is paying off. Still, when that scale doesn't budge, I feel a little frustration and want to make sure I stay consistent through that. Here's hoping meeting my August goal will get me under 220
Thank you for starting this thread, gardenerjoy! I tried my best to keep up with the July thread but I haven't been online as much I as I normally am. I will wrap that thread up just as soon as I get back on my computer.
I've been struggling to stay on plan this summer, so my goal for August is get back into my workout routine as much as possible, to track my food and to get down to 195lbs.
Thanks gardenerjoy for the new thread! Well I lost 2lb last month so I'd like to lose the same again this month I'll be so excited to get beneath 135lbs!

Really had an "off the rails" weekend. Went waaaay over calories the last few days. Back on track today, eating good things and drinking lots of water. Focusing on 1600 calories a day this week to try to balance out my numbers. Trying to be kind to my body and just overall kind to myself, not getting knocked off course by my indulgences this weekend.
