Today I definitely got in my exercise! I kayaked 10.86 miles down the Chattahoochee River with my best friend. Details of our little journey are on my blog.
I'm tired now. Gonna rest my achy and sunburned arms!
Oh yeah, he's loving the extra attention and exercise! He's a big ol' long legged mutt (Shepherd/husky mix we think) and the longer we're out and the more distance we cover the more he likes it. He likes it best when I take him out hiking in the woods because if there are no other people around I will let him off leash and then he runs circles around me.
All week long I admit that I haven't done a darn thing. I've been so busy at work with it being the end of the fiscal year and trying to get everything cleaned up so that I can change positions on Monday that I didn't walk on the office treadmill at all. I've slacked. Back on track today! I'm planning on going to my mom's house to swim!
I got in an hour of swimming yesterday at my mom's with the family. I also did four hours of house cleaning, which doesn't really count as exercise but I was up moving and not sitting on my duff! My house looks better now too.
Today I got in 2 hours of swimming at my mom's house, mowed part of my grass for a 1/2 hour, and will be restarting the 30 Day Shred tonight. I'll get there.
I did good last week- I took my dog for several long walks during the week, and then on Saturday took him for a 5 hour hike. I've also been working in some exercise at the office each day - a combination of push ups, sit ups, stretching and yoga moves that I intersperse throughout the day.
Great job! It's been so insanely hot here that we haven't taken our dog for a walk. It's just far too hot out there. Yuck! I am praying for cooler weather!
Today I restarted Jillian's 30 Day Shred. Completed Day 1 Level 1 and did 45 (girly style) push ups.
