Got in another mile walk tonight, but it was not a fun walk. Check out my blog for more. Certain people really should be shot.

This morning I decided to break out the 3 lb. dumbbells and do some arm work.

Dumbbell Flys - 5 sets, 12 reps
Dumbbell Bench Press - 5 sets, 12 reps
Bent Over 2 Dumbbell Ros - 5 sets, 12 reps
Dumbbell Bicep Curl - 5 sets, 12 reps

It doesn't count for miles but it definitely counts for exercise!

Yesterday after doing the weigh workout I also went for amile walk around my neighborhood before getting ready for work.

Today I decided to try something a little different. Instead of my usual treadmill I got on the stationary bike, set the level at 4, and pedaled for 11 miles! It was nice to do something different today.

I'm definitely getting it done!

I took a peek at the scale this morning and it showed a gain. What's up with that? I've stayed within my calorie limit. I've been exercising. What's going on? I'm not going to let this deter me, but it's perplexing. I'm doing everything I should be doing, to my knowledge. Why am I showing a gain? I hope that gain shows a loss for my weigh in on Sunday.

Way to go! I have not been doing well. I'm pms'y the last few days and it's been dark and rainy which has not helped my mood- I've been a sloth in the evenings after work. I'm hoping I can get some motivation tonight- it's still dark and rainy though.

I can totally understand PMS'y. TOM went away a week ago, which was nice! It's dark here but not rainy.

When I got home I discovered that I'd left my tennis shoes under my desk at work! Oops! So no walk tonight. I moaned and complained to my husband for about ten minutes about it. Then I grabbed my hand weights and did some arm exercises.

I completed a seated preacher curl (5 sets, 15 reps, 5 lb. dumbbells), standing preacher curl (2 sets, 15 reps, 5 lb. dumbbells), dumbbell curl (5 sets, 12 reps, 5 lb. dumbbells), tricep press (5 sets, 12 reps, 5 lb. dumbbells), alternate hammer curl (5 sets, 15 reps, 5 lb. dumbbells), dumbbell side bend (3 sets, 15 reps, 5 lb. dumbbells), dumbbell row (5 sets, 12 reps, 5 lb. dumbbells), and dumbbell flys (5 sets, 12 reps, 5 lb. dumbbells).

Not bad after my moment of childish complaining.

Did some morning dumbbell workouts before getting ready for work. Here's what I did:

2 arm bent over dumbbell row - 5 sets, 15 reps, 5 lb. weights
standing dumbbell bicep curl - 5 sets, 15 reps, 5 lb. weights
dumbbell side bend - 5 sets, 15 reps, 5 lb. weights
dumbbell flyes - 5 sets, 15 reps, 5 lb. weights
dumbbell bench press - 5 sets, 15 reps, 5 lb. weights
alternate hammer dumbbell curl - 5 sets, 15 reps, 5 lb. weights

I'm also going to do 30 minutes (11 miles) on the stationary bike at lunch today.

I went for a walk both last night and the night before with my dog. The weather is still blah and rainy so it's hard to feel motivated but I did get out. Last night the sun even peeked out for a few minutes.

Awesome job!

Friday I didn't do anything that would have been considered "exercise" but my husband and I did finish setting up my mom's new above ground pool and got it filled. That was plenty of exercise for me. We were both sweating by the time it was finished.

Saturday we took my two daughters to a miniature animal petting zoo on the north side of Atlanta. We did lots of walking around (thought I wasn't able to track it) and then took the girls swimming for two hours when we got back to my mom's house.

Weighed in this morning to a 2.6 pound gain. I have a feeling it had something to do with last night's lasagna for dinner. That number will go back down next week.

Back from the treadmill. Got in my 1.5 miles. I did a combination of walking and jogging. And...I even jogged for a full 1/4 mile without stopping! That's the first time in my life I've ever done that!!!! I was super proud of myself!

I have continued to be active outdoors- walking and hiking and other stuff. I ate terribly over the weekend however and gained 3 lbs. Ugh. Back on track starting today.

EagleRiverDee. Congrats for getting back on track today. One of my mottos is Progress, not perfection. Making progress overall is the goal.
