went to the gym tonight. i won.

1074 calories in 2:05... including warm up and stretch, 45 mins on the elliptical, more stretching, 3 sets of 12 of 9 different strength training exercises (omg deadlifts), then cool down. i'm gonna go eat a small bowl of ice cream now.

Good morning ladies,

Great job on the workouts Mandy. I hope you enjoyed your ice cream snack.

Yesterday was very busy for me so I missed logging in but I'm still plugging along. The scale isn't moving much but I'm haning in there.

Penguin - How are you doing today?

I hope you ladies have a great day!

Hey ladies. Things are a little stressful right now, but the good news is in a week or two I will be a resident of Alaska after a 4 month delay. I'm really excited about the future to say the least. =) I'm trying to watch what I eat and I made myself get my strength workout in this morning, so I'm trying my best to do what I can when I can.

I hope you're all doing great!

helped a friend move last night, wore my heart rate monitor. it says i burned 760 calories carrying things down the stairs (but luckily not back up them!), and into her new place. i figured that was good enough, forget the gym heh.

i'm just wondering why i am not losing any weight. i understand water retention in the muscles from strength training, yada yada, but i highly doubt i'm adding enough muscle/water to completely cancel out any change on the scale from fat loss.

uber frustrating.

tempted to give up, except i seem to keep losing inches. BLAH.

I'm alive. Just tired and sneezing/snuffly. and tired of being sneezy/snuffly

Mandy, hang in there. I know this can be very frusterating. I gained back a few lbs but refuse to change my ticker. I measured and I seam to have lost an inch or two around my upper ribs but no where else! ACK!

Kim, glad to hear things are going so well for you.

Hello ladies,

Kim - I'm glad things are working out for you and that you will be joining your DH in Alaska.

Mandy - Hang in there and don't give up. Tomorrow is the start of a new month and I am also planning to make April a great one. I know we can have a great month if we just put our minds to it and stay 100% OP for all 30 days. During March I had some good days but I also had some bad days so I didn't lose any weight.

Penguin - Hopefully your allergies will be gone soon.

Here's to a great April for us. I'll start the new thread.
