Well, just finished a marathon workout ...

45 mins of run/walk intervals on the treadmill
60 min hill climb on the elliptical
2 mi run/walk back to my parents' house

Now I can enjoy my filet mignon in peace tonight

Sorry for checking in so late today. Not only is it New Year's Eve, but it's also my oldest daughter's 21st birthday. So we've be out and about, and she wanted me to put red highlights in her hair. It came out great, by the way. (pats self on back...lol).

Tonight my sister is throwing a New Year's Eve party, but I am so partied out lately and do not need the temptation, so my husband and I are just stopping by there once it nears midnight to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Well, out with 2011 and in with 2012! Let's make this the best year ever everyone!

Happy New Year! Hope this year brings us all lots of healthy weight lost

I stepped on the scale this morning and didn't like the number so I stomped on it. I really need to get a better scale.

Well it a new year so today I am starting fresh and here to going full force on calorie counting and working out. Hoping I don't give into temptation for awhile.

Not a good week last week...gained 4 lbs. So I'm now 188, not 184. Yesterday was our anniversary and we went out to dinner and then ate way too much with my kids. Back on track now. Hoping everyone else didn't slip up like me. Very disappointed in myself. And have another headache, so I have to be careful about working out today. I'll just do some walking.

i hear yea mines on the way. i usually wont weigh til two-three days after its gone cause i retain like a dam. about 3-6lbs everytime. it disapears a couple days after tom its just bloat

Ugh! I'm mad at myself. Last night hubby and I dropped off our girls off at my sister's for her New Year's Eve party. He twisted my arm that since it was just the two of us, we should go eat at Carino's Italian Restaurant. You know...since it IS New Year's Eve and we'll start fresh on January 1st. I am just coming back from going off plan on Christmas, so my willpower is not the strongest right now.

Let's just say that he didn't have to twist my arm all that much. I way over did it and woke up this morning with the worst headache that's lasted most of the day. Serves me right though. I can't believe I did this 2 days before weigh in tomorrow.

Oh well, I have to just get over it. It's a new year and this WILL be the year I reach my goal weight, even with a few set backs along the way. I'm just hoping that from now on the set backs will be spaced further apart than one week.

I think i will gain this weigh in, 39deg (102F) yesterday, 40 (104) today and 37 (99) tomorrow. Day number 5 of this heat with a very hot northery wind! Too hot to do anything!

Hello,

This looks like just what I need (although it seems I am a bit late coming to the party!). I definitely need to lose some weight and up my fitness, but don't have a very focused plan yet. I am still in holiday mode here - today is a public holiday in the UK. I think I will get myself properly organised when DH goes back to work tomorrow. The good thing is that we are taking DD1 back to university today, and she is happy to be loaded up with the "treat" foods that are left over from Christmas, and that we were given as gifts (she is always on the go and skinny, so no weight issues) - so most of it will soon be out of the house!!!

I am going to try to update my ticker; and will post again tomorrow. Thanks for your inspiration!

This Christmas season has been a struggle for me. I reached my Christmas Goal but have not maintained it thru the holidays. So I have updated my ticker to reflect the gain of 4 lbs.

So my first goal will be to lose the 4 lbs. and then on to my Valentine's Day goal.
