I was looking through the challenges and this one seems like it will fit my life the best.
Today I am at 149 pounds. I would like to be 130 pounds by Valentines Day. My mini-goal is to stay on plan from today until the end of October. On plan means going to the gym 6 days/week alternating cardio and weights and staying at or below 1300 calories/day. Good luck to all! Hi there, I'd love to join in too. Valentine's day will be my 19th wedding anniversary! My goal is 135 by February 14, 2012. That's 18 lbs in 18 weeks. I can do that!! :carrot:

I like the Valentines challenges, not because I really celebrate Valentines day, but because me and the bf's anniversary is on the 8th of February and next year it will be 7 years!
I usually weigh in on Mondays, so I'll keep tomorrow as my first official weigh in. I am setting my goal weight at 140lbs. There are 18 weigh ins between now and Valentines day for me and I reckon I've got around 28lbs to lose, which averages out to a little over 1.5lbs a week. Doable? I hope so! I also started running this week, part of getting back on track after my permitted jumping off the wagon during the holiday period and then not getting back on while work started again in September. I'd love to join in too. Valentine's day is not something I celebrate every year but I love challenges. I weigh myself daily but my official weigh in date are Wednesdays. I hope to be at goal long before valentines day. This challenge will help keep me accountable when I reach my ultimate goa and going into maintenance.

losing - congrats on the loss!! dani - wtg with holding - better than a gain! iron - thanks :) I experienced a huge personal setback last night - I'm still quite shaken and very emotional. I've not been eating, so I think now is the time to be focused on being KIND to myself, and eating the right way. I'm still a little lost - so I came back to 3fc to get grounded :) |
I can no longer access this website from work most of the time (I think it may be the old browser we have, because it's fine from home) and I've got limited time once I'm home at night.
But still here, still plugging away on plan and hoping to see a net loss for the week after my mostly unexplained gain last week (a tiny amount off plan one day, but most of the gain happened before that anyway!) |

After my unexplained gain last week up to 209.6, I was down 3 lbs for this week to 206.6. Still working my way back to my ticker weight. I'm hoping to see some additional progress and get to start moving my ticker again by next week's WI!!
