Today is my 7th consecutive day of exercising! I am about to leave for the gym actually. I am calorie counting and eating mostly fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins. The special K protien shakes are great for a mini meal, only 190 calories a bottle and they keep you full! I did great on my diet today, had banana-nut cherrios for breakfast (low cal cereal), arugala salad for lunch along with pita chips and hummus, and a bowl of rice and veggies for dinner! but i had a special k protein shake in the gap between breakfast and lunch.

Had a special K protein shake for breakfast, a salad with italian dressing for lunch, and a lowfat tuna sandwhich for dinner...why does that make me feel guilty? that's only about 900 calories. I just wanna run to the gym and work it all off. Im starting to think im getting a little OCD about the whole diet thing =[ what should i do ladies? I wanna meet my goals as fast as possible, but i dont want to become unhealthy about it.
ClaireBear - I think you should talk to your doctor and possibly a nutrionist. Your body REQUIRES a certain amount of cals to function at a healthy level.
I have heard if you eat too few calories it can cause your weight to stall. You definitely have to get a minimum number of calories. Take care of yourself.
I'll try to match you 12 pounds in 5 weeks, too! I don't have any specific mini goals right now except to keep losing at the rate I have been - about 1% - 2% per week. This will help keep me on track on the "aggressive" side of the scale.

7-2 - 185 ( posted Saturday's weight because I would be away from my scale on Sunday)

7-17 - 180.2
7-24 goal 178
actual weight -- 177.2

Sorry for not posting much guys I am in Las Vegas this week for a conference! I hope that everyone is ok! Yes we just all post our new weight on Sunday!!!
I updated my original post. Is it easier if we post our progress in a new post so you don't have to search through all the old ones for the updates? I'm pretty new to this site - not sure how things are done.
