Default Day 2 Done!

Finished off Day 2 with 5lb weights for everything. They are OK except for the shoulder exercises where you lift your arms straight up and out while side lunging. Ouch!

Did all of the abs today Still not all of the push-ups, but definitely feel stronger.

So happy I have this forum to talk to you guys. It gives me something to look forward to after my workout. xoxo!

and Day 3 done!

I was able to do all the jumping jacks, but I cheated a bit on jumping the imaginary rope as I just had to catch my breath, I walked through it. Easier but much more effective workout than yesterday

SwimGirl: I really wanted to warm up my body before doing the workout, because I can do it much better when my muscles are warm and wide awake for challenge! Today I did a 50 min walk including week one running of C25K and some cleaning before I did the 30 Day shred.

Ferumbras: my push-ups are so lame... But I'm getting better! It also gets easier when I get to be smaller

Day 3 done , i too find the jump rope exercise the most difficult , my calves cramp up , but manage to keep up with a few hops now and again :0)

Day 3 done!

I'm covered in sweat, I also find the shoulder exercises difficult but it will get better(I hope) I still suck at push ups and I still am working on the jump rope when those come up I usually try for as much as I can then I switch to hopping from one leg to the other at the same pace or a bit quicker. I absolutely love that once I start I don't feel the soreness anymore

Didn't do the workout this morning. Made a healthy lunch (sweet potato, mushrooms, pecans, and chicken over quinoa) instead so I don't spend money at work. But I get off at 10pm and when I get home my roomates are home and I don't want them watching me!

Please help hold me accountable to do the workout tonight! Thanks!

Hi all, I know it's 3 days in but I was wondering if I could start. It's so weird this is here because my fiance started the shred on the first and wants to do it for himself! We've had the DVD for several months... but I've always been too nervous to do it.

I'm going to try it, though. The thing I'm most nervous about it the jumping. My "girls" are huge and they are not battened down as well as they should be, it can get painful. I'll let you know how I feel after, lol.

By the way, he finished day 2 yesterday and said how sore he was. He's in pretty good shape to begin with, so I hope I don't die. O_O

Did Level 2, Day 1 this morning. Oh man.. I'm so glad I didn't do c25k before-hand; I needed all the energy I had. I had to wimp out on the last strength exercise (as happened when I first started level 1, which gives me hope that I'll improve here too). Doesn't help that yesterday at kickboxing we focused hard on ab work, making me extra sore/sensitive there today. Nevertheless, it's good to try some new moves.

Hope everyone's still enjoying the shred!

Annie- I also didn't get a chance to do the workout this morning so I am going to do it after work at 10. I wimped out of doing it this morning since my family was home so I know how you feel but I realized if I am going to use something as silly as not being home alone as an excuse not to work out I am never going to get healthier. Who cares what your roommates think with summer coming up they may even want to join you Just do the workout tonight because once you have done it in front of your roommates once you won't have a problem doing it again. Good job packing a healthy lunch and make sure you do the workout tonight you dont want to stop on only Day 3 right?

Rated: I would never exercise if my parents or sister were in the house! My son is okay, but only if I have no other choice.

Finished Day 3 and I swear this is getting harder, not easier. My calfs are sore from step aerobics on Wednesday and the imaginary jump rope is painful.
