I'm a newbie to the site, but was curious if I could join??
I've really been struggling with my weight the last 3 years. Last month I committed to the Ideal Protein Diet and so far so good.. Anyway, I haven't found a lot of "connection" on that board, so here I am.. |

I'm officially at 199 today, ladies! I kept seeing it all week, but didn't know if I could keep it up until Sunday. It feels great to see a "1" again. :D

@Northern Belle- Congrats! Patience is a virtue in this evil game of weight loss. Sometimes I get so frustrated with that damn scale that I want to throw it out the window, then the following day it's my BFF. I always recite to myself that "It didn't show up overnight so it's not going to go away overnight".
@Jomatho- That's a really great loss for this week. Keep up the good work. BTW, are we officially reporting on Saturdays? I'm a daily weigher and just pop in here every few days for updates. |

Morning ladies
Another week gone and one week closer to SUMMER!!1 The scale angels came to visit again . . . can you say 160's NEXT WEEK!!! soooo excited . . . OK, the goal is: to hit my goal weight, may be a bit of a stretch but I should be REALLY close . . . 1/16: 177.2 1/23: 175.2 (-2.0) 1/30: 173.6 (-1.6) 2/6: 170.6 (-3.0) DCAP: That's 12 sticks o BUTT-ery GOO MELTED AWAY FOREVER!!! NorthernBelle & Hopeful: I guess you're not going to give that scale wings, YET . . . I know sometimes I want too . . . I just need MORE PATIENCE!!! LOLOLOL :congrat: to all of you who are are the downhill slide and HANG IN THERE for anyone struggling . . . WE CAN DO THIS!! |

Madam - BYE BYE BUTTER!!!!! Down 2.1 today - awesome! i was "expecting" more, but that's my problem - I have very high expectations which are sometimes unrealistic. I LOST - that's a good thing, and I'm being more consistent, which is even more important. Have a great day all!! |

For me, this week hasn't been easy :( I've been so good; I haven't cheated at all, have gone to the gym faithfully, but I've only seen 1lb net loss... The scale played some tricks a few days, but oh, well. I'll take a page out of Madam's book and call it a good 4 sticks of butter gone this week!! 1/16:198.0 lbs 1/23: 194.0 (-4.0 lbs) 1/30: 191.0 (-7.0 lbs) 2/6: 190.0 (-8.0 lbs) 2/13: 2/20: 2/27: 3/6: 3/13: 3/20: 3/27: 4/3: 4/10: 4/17: 4/24: 5/1: 5/8: 5/15: FINAL WEIGH IN: 5/20 or 5/22: |
