My first excercise goal! ;-)
 
My goal (since I've been sedentary for months) is to do purposeful exercise every day for 850 min, plan for walking on nice days, and indoor Turbo Jam DVD on cold or rainy days.

I did start this past week on 11/3:
11/3 - Turbo Jam - 30 min
11/4 - Turbo Jam - 30 min
11/5 - Walk - 30 min
11/6 - Walk - 30 min

My goal is to follow p90x and try adding at least 30 mins of yoga everyday

2/11 - p90x : chest & back-60mins
power yoga - 15 mins

3/11- p90x- cardio x

4/11- p90x - shoulders &arms
5/11- none

6/11- 45 mins walk
yoga- 20 mins
p90x- legs&back- 60mins

7/11- p90x- kenpox -60 mins
45 mins walk
yoga - 25 mins

Wildflower: 6 Iyengar yoga classes, a Bikram yoga class each day I have off work (4 classes), 1 run per week (4 runs total)
gardenerjoy: 1350 minutes
shoeless: 1600 minutes, including a daily swim (when I'm within reach of my local pool!)
I am worth it: a minimum of 4x a week and be able to run a mile
nitebug: 30 minutes/day, 5 days per week, 600 minutes for the month
tigga: 800 minutes and try a new class
2feelbetter: exercise 4x a week
AngelicaLyna: finish the Insanity work out plan
gyntofly: 1600 minutes, 780 crunches
pinkflower: walk to pick up my DD from school 2-3x a week, and to do 2 workouts a week from my new program. I'll also do yoga class 1-2x a week. I may also sub swimming laps occasionally for the walking
Matilda08: 20 workouts
Aislin: 1400 minutes
Ms Perception: 2X/wk strength training, 3X/wk walk or jog or swim
Summer2010: 1000 minutes
Aunty Jam: run at least 3 times a week plus one or two extra non-running work outs
gypsychic: follow p90x and try adding at least 30 mins of yoga

11/6 weights, jog 6 min (strained a calf muscle -forgot to stretch it)

I'm going to take it easy today but hope to crank it up this week. :)

-walk 1 hr a day 5 days a week on the treadmill with speed of at leat 3mph and 5% incline
-visit the gym for strength training at least 3 times a week

Thanks, gardenerjoy! I'm soooo glad you realized that I meant 850 min for the month and not each day as it appears I wrote! :dizzy:

Let me just ask... how often do most people update their minutes?

OK! So, despite being a week with a few days where I couldn't fit in any exercise, week 1 was not so terrible...

Week 1 total: 242 mins (behind target by 136 mins). I'm confident I can make this up as we go on...

Let's hope week 2 is a little better! :D

Week 2:

8th - 45 mins swimming
9th - 30 mins swimming
10th - 100 mins mountainbiking
11th - no excercise :(
12th - no excercise :( :(
13th - 45 mins swimming
14th - 180 mins mountainbiking

Week 2 total: 400 mins
This week ahead/behind: 22 mins ahead

Running total: 642 mins
Total ahead/behind: -114 mins

WendyRN: We're all over the board. Many of us update daily or close to that. Some people do one or two summary posts in the month--especially one at the end of the month to show that they have made their goal. If you want the accountability, I suggest daily -- that's made all the difference for me!
