hello everyone, just checking in. I am trying to get my diet back on track. Now that I am working and I am in a middle shift from 11am - 7pm. I have to figure out what I can take to work and how I am going to fix dinner for the family when I get home. Not to mention I am working in a Chocolate factory in the quality department... I think it is the best diet I have ever had though.... I smell all that chocolate every day makes me not want any now LOL....

Mystical- I have two words for you "Crock Pot", We make bbq pork, shredded chicken for enchiladas, and beef stew in ours. The beauty is it cooks while you are gone. There are soooo many low cal, healthy recipes. You stick it in before you go to work, and when you get home it is ready! Hope that helps.

Check In Time
Down another pound or so :carrot: Planning another OP day today. Hope your day is a good one! |
Lewisempire- Hey thanks for chatting about that. BC has been here and there for me. I'm quite happy on it but surely can't be on it forever. I went back on it yesterday. I just can't function like that.... I'm sure it will be a problem some day as it got up to 232 this week and that's 5 lbs gain in one week!! How long do you think it keeps doing that? How long did it affect you that way?
My check in: Wow....so I was making good time but I lost most of it. I'm going to struggle to get to a good number this month but goal is shot. I do overshoot anyway, but this is sad. So, I'll be checking in and doing my final weigh in when it's time but mostly will be shooting for another month. Hope yall are doing well and getting to goal! :carrot: |
2.8 pounds to go! By sunday morning, its a stretch, but I'm pushing. Even if the scale says 250.8 I will be satisfied!!
And I'm proud to say that I have stayed on plan, the longest time in my own recorded history lol. |
Well I did it! This morning I weighed in at 196.5 which means that not only am I pants size smaller, but I have also lost 10lbs in July. :D Go me!

today, I surpassed my 1200 exercise minutes goal by nearly 100 minutes with 3 days left in the month :)
|
Dcapulet, I don't have you down for that goal (1200 minutes), was I supposed to or was it on the exercise thread? Either way I am impressed Congrats! just let me know if I need to change it!
|
Wow, I must have taken a wrong turn and lost this thread for a little while. I am still plugging away and am making minimal progress--reached 158.6 today, which leaves 3.4 pounds to my July 10-pound goal. Not very likely, especially in light of the fact that I am going on an eating and drinking and playing binge this weekend, out to a friend's lake house. Add to that a hip that is acting like it's been pulled or strained, and my calories in versus calories out ratio doesn't seem to stand a chance.
Please send me some self-discipline ju ju, any of you who are kicking butt and have already made goal this month. As I reach the last 15ish pounds to my final goal, I seem to be braking, for a stop on the finish line, rather than pushing hard to cross it at full speed. Oh well, I know it's not a race, and I can't believe I'm so close. Seven months ago it seemed soooo far away! |
Check In Time :)
OP yesterday - planning another today. I sure am peeing a lot. Get up at least once during the night & sometimes twice.Would somebody please remind me why that happens when you're losing :?: Hope your day is a good one! |
Good morning,
I have lost 10 pounds! I can't hardly believe it! It is gonna be a great Day! |
-I need to be un-redded for my weight loss goal :( Last WI for the month was today and I am +1.4 for the week. -4.4 for the month though, so I am still a winner in my eyes!
-I've tracked all of my food 20/31 days instead of ALL days. -I checked in here daily. I've decided that I like succeeding way more than failing so I looked into how to make realistic goals for August. I found a website http://www.goal-setting-guide.com/go...t-goal-setting on using S.M.A.R.T goal setting that I'm going to use for August. ■S = Specific ■M = Measurable ■A = Attainable ■R = Realistic ■T = Timely I think we all have heard that slow and steady wins the race when it comes to weight loss and that most professionals and weight loss organizations recommend no more than 1-2 pounds per week. I hope I keep that in mind during my journey because if I expect more than that each month I think i'll just disappoint myself. |
Quick check-in to report I was a naughty girl for my birthday. I ate a bunch of junk and now will have to do some damage control. My anniversary is in a few days too, so I expect to have one more day of off plan eating before I get moving consistantly in the right direction. I'm feeling good and look forward to starting another month and reconsidering goals.
