Checking in :) MY goal was to get to the 210s and have some form of exercise everyday. Been OP the last few days, TOM Is almost over and I'm at 227 half way through the month. 8 pounds if I want to get to the 210's before August! Can I do it? I bet I could once TOM's gone and I stay OP And work work work.... I think I will. I've promised myself some tanning and a new bathing suit once I get to the 220 :) Keep your heads up everyone, we can do it!

Checking in. Yesterday was mostly OP. I was soooo exhausted all day. I think I must be getting sick, or my TOM is coming early because it's been like that for a few days. I tried very hard to workout, and made several attempts. But after getting halfway through a Turbo Jam video I just had to give up cause I felt like I was going to fall over. I feel better today so I hope I do better.
My husband fixed the car, so we were able to do grocery shopping and I have healthy foods for snacks again. Yay. When we got home I was so hungry I went over my calories by about 140 with a cup of cherries and 1/4 cup raw almonds. But I don't feel bad about it cause I was genuinely hungry. I want to do personals but I'm just taking a quick break from housework to post this - have a lot to catch up on from being so sluggish the past few days. I hope you all have a wonderful day! |
I'm still here. Not much to report. I am down 2 pounds but still 5 pounds from my goal. the ezercise has been hard for me to do. I've not been doing well at all with it and my nutrition is okay. Not great but I've not blown the calorie budget yet. I'm hanging in there :)

We have our 1st red goal!!!!:woohoo::encore: Congratulations Ap90! Way togo! AWESOME!
Noelle is RIGHT, We have time to make our goals a reality! Le'ts not give up, Let's Dig in and Go BIG What are We...Women, or wusses? |
Congrats Ap90!!!! Way to go!
I think my sickness has set me back and my goals probably aren't going to happen this month...unless I miraculously lose 14 pounds in the next 14 days, lmao. I really don't think that is going to happen! So, down to 216 today which is a step in the right direction, but it's so hard for me to feel motivated in this freaking heat. Even in the gym it is so hot I can't force myself to run over a mile. Oh well, I guess at least I'm stil running everyday instead of not at all! Still eating POP so hopefully the scale will keep moving, even though not as fast as I want it too, lol EDIT: Okay, after mulling it over, I think I'm going to change my goal to 210. That was what I reached before for my 100 pound loss and I was so excited and took pictures and everything. I think's a much more reasonable goal than 202 at this point! Then my goal for August will be ONEDERLAND!!! |
Another fun-filled day here, taking me forever to get on here and post!
Delphi-Let me join in the well-wishing for a VERY :cheer: happy birthday :cheer: to you! LouisaH-I can't believe I've made it this far OP this week! Last week I was so wishy-washy I was thrilled with anything more than 1 day OP! So.....I DID IT!! I ate sensibly and within my cals last night! I had a taco salad, spanish rice, and a few chips and guacamole. I also had a little brownie and whipped topping for dessert. It was exactly what I had planned to eat and I felt totally satisfied (even a little indulgent) with it!!! I'm so thrilled, especially since this morning the scale showed no damage from the night. That is something of a miracle as I also got TOM last night while the company was over. :D I'm just so, so proud of myself for last night that even TOM couldn't dampen my mood! LOL I'm making some adjustments to the remainder of the week to accomodate leftovers and all, but otherwise I'm golden for the little 7 day OP challenge I had for myself. I'm on day #5 already and going strong! I'm looking ahead to the challenges next week and already thinking about strategies for those events, one by one. So many traveling days, potlucks, etc. I can do this!! |
Happy Birthday Delphi

Ap90 - wtg on goal!!!
Delphi - happy birthday! Louisa and Susie - I'm trying to pay attention to my body - but I've been ignoring it for so long, it's taking time to communicate properly.... Yes, half way through the month, I think more than halfway to goal! I am motivated to keep going, slip into those size 18's and keep working my butt off! :) |
LE ~ I actually work on a few hospital accounts but I'lll do all my work from home. The boys and I are both excited. I go live tonight, so I'm definitely glad I have gotten to this point. Its been a long hard road. How are you guys doing?
Welll doing alright and keeping with the plan but TOM is weighing me down this week. sure will be glad when he is outta here. Well gotta get ready for work. |
Go Ap90!!

hmmm...
Does vitamin E oil work on really old stretch marks? Some of my stretch marks are like 10 years old!!! some are maybe 5..... I certainly won't be wearing a bikini in my life unless I get a back yard pool.... dang my mama's genes!!

Check In Time
Yesterday was OP - trying for an OP day today. Sunday is my birthday & today I'm taking a day trip to Lehman's in Ohio. I swear it's my favorite store in the world :D I don't know where I'll be eating, but I'm pretty sure it won't be my standard fare and will probably be more calories than I usually do. Hope everyone has a great day! |
susiemartin-I'm a little jealous! That store looks fantastic!! I was looking at the home pasta maker with all the accessories. That would be amazing to have! I love to cook and especially when I can do everything from scratch. Maybe some year for Christmas.... My wish list for kitchen gadgets is a mile long. That'd be near the top, though. LOL
NightAngel-I don't know about the Vitamin E, but if it works, let us all know. I, for one, could use that kind of help!!! Delphi-So....how did it go last night? It was your first night working, right? Keep up the good work. I hear ya with TOM. This month he's just slowing me down, but I know it'll pass in a day or 2. ap90-I forgot to comment earlier, but that's awesome about the jeans! It is one of the most rewarding things about getting more fit....fitting into clothes better or into smaller sizes. That's priceless! I'm on day #6 of my OP challenge. So far, so good. I feel great and know I'm due for a nice drop once TOM stops interferring. Today is a rest day for me and I'm super thankful for it. I'm a little physically worn down and tomorrow's run has me a little unsure. I had a 10 mile run a couple weeks ago that was VERY challenging with the heat and humidity and all. Plus it was my longest run ever and right after getting back from vacation. It wasn't pretty! Tomorrow is 12 miles and the heat and humidity are back. I'm going to run earlier than last time and pray for the best. I've certainly been fueling myself better and that should make a positive difference as well. I hope it all goes smoothly because I'd like to enjoy the rest of the day also; taking the kids to the beach and having a picnic there, then relaxing at home and maybe watching a movie or 2 in the afternoon and evening. It's a rare weekend with no formal plans and I can't wait!!!! |
Happy Birthday Delphi and Susie!
WTG Ap90! I just put my jeans away from the wash (with any luck I'll only need shorts for the next few months!) and I was thinking how cool it will be when they are too loose when I need to wear them in the fall. Mid-month check in: :)-3.6lbs, 2.1 to go. So glad I picked a realistic goal, it will feel good to make my weight loss goal two months in a row.:D I have checked in every day and will continue to do so. :^: I only tracked all of my food the first 7 days of the month, and then a few things here and there. Rather than giving up on that goal though I plan to track the rest of the month. Still carrying over some good habits from June's goals like pushing fluids, step-by-step and ounce-by-ounce this weight will come off and I will be healthier. BTW, I haven't had a visit from TOM in awhile but I think I have been hanging out on this board too much and have synced with you ladies because it's heeere. Boo! |
