Is this where I parked my car? :P
Hiya ladies! Wanted to check in and see if the July thread was up yet. Unfortunately I've gained a little weight back and ready to get back on the wagon. I still see some familiar faces...how have you ladies been? |
Hey everyone, Delphi is back, the party can start again! Welcome back--we didn't have any fun without you, so you didn't miss anything. We're still rockin' it and I'm glad you have come back to us! I guess if you gained a little weight back, you weren't walking while your car was parked here, huh? lol.
LE: July was supposed to be when I reach my goal of 149, which I'm thinking is now 145, so I do have to rethink it 'cause that's out of the question. I'll probably just go for another ten pounds, which I don't seem to be reaching, but I think I work harder knowing I'm going for a bigger loss (let's see, how can I psych myself up the most?). Yes, onederland is within your reach...and I can attest to how good it feels, so go for it! I'm jealous--I want to go hang out at the lake for the weekend! I was at 165.4 this morning, down another .2 pounds. That puts me at 7 so far for the month, so I would need a really good whoosh to make my ten pound goal. bama girl, would you mind breathing my way for a second, please? My niece's graduation is today, and my brother is grilling up lots of meats, which he's really good at, so I really need to be in control of my will power and pay attention to portion control. He's grilling a bunch of squash from our csa farms too, so hopefully I'll fill up on that. Yum, I'm hungry. Wish me luck! Have a good evening, chicklets. |
Check In Time :)
I'm down another 2 lbs. :carrot: Yesterday was OP looking forward to another OP day today. Delphi- Great to see you again! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!! |
For some reason my Norton is saying this site is unsafe? Over 34 reported threats from this site. They must of had some problems since I've been away.
Yeah, after my son passed in January, I guess I have just let myself go. Though I did go back to school (and graduated with honors I might add), and currently looking for a job. It has been a very exhausting 4 months and I have gained back 25 pounds. :( I took my course in medical transcription, so I have spent most of those 4 months at my desk and completely off my schedule. So I'm definitely ready to get back to routine and find a better one that I will keep, even when life slaps me around a little bit. :) |
Booyah!!! -5.4 pounds last week! So far for June -8.2. I am hoping to hold steady there for the remainder of the month so that it feels real! I am so afraid of gaining and being dissappointed and then giving up. I know I have been making steady improvemnts but I also know I am way stressed this week and eating more than I have been...I'm a sabotager sometimes I guess. It's hard to put into words.
Anyhow, I met my -5 lbs for June but none of my other goals on a consistent basis. 4 days to be 100% and I am going to do it. Happy Birthday NightAngel! Hoping we all share in Bama Girl's "whoosh"ing! |
June was definitely a one step forward two steps back month for me. I've noticed a definite change in my clothes fitting but in terms of weight I've been in the same few lb range for the month. Hopefully July will be better.
|
I'm down to 214.6 as of this morning - 6.2 lbs (I think?) this month so far. Hopefully I can eek out a bit more in the next couple of days. I made goal, though, no matter what happens.

Hiya LE...good to see you around here as well. I have 1 prospect that looks really good, so we shall see. And yeah, I've definitely got my head back on straight (or at least as straight as my head will ever get) and ready to get back to living a more healthy lifestyle again. I think I can say with some clarity that I have seen the last of emotional eating marathons. :carrot:
So you can definitely pencil me in for 10 pounds for the July challenge. It is so good to be back and get the support I truly need daily. I miss you gals. |
Check In Time :)
Well yesterday wasn't as good as it could of been food wise. I spent the entire day brush hogging & was tired & sunburned by the time I finally stopped. I ate more than I should have at dinner...and then went back for more :( Well, here's looking forward to an OP day today. Hope your day is a good one too! |
official weigh in..................-.2pounds:cry:I dont know what is up with that, but I am not very happy! Hopefully, I will drop big next week, or get a whoosh midweek somehow. oh well, hope everyone else has a great day.

Well its been a crazy month and I haven't been able to post much, but I met and surpassed my goal to lose 5 pounds this month. Down to 196! Looking forward to losing more in July!:)
|
Hi!!! I’m back in NJ. I miss you a lot.
My goal for this month was to be at 157 or 155 but now I’m at 153.6!! Thank you!!! |
Delphi, you've walked a long, hard road between January and now, and in my opinion you should get to be perfectly fit because of it. I'm glad you got back to school and kicked its butt. Now you're back here and ready to kick that 25 pounds' butt and finish off to your goal. The thing about life, it always slaps us around a little, doesn't it? I guess the trick is to stop thinking it's not supposed to. Congratulations on graduating (and with honors, wow!), and for getting back on the wagon. Good luck with the job hunt.
LE: don't fret! I know it's frustrating because I'm feeling the same way, but we'll just keep plugging along and sooner or later the scale fairy will reward us. aluxa: welcome back! How was the trip? You did pretty well, judging by your weight loss! Congratulations--I guess the family was pretty supportive? Did you get to eat all your favorite foods? I'm kinda stuck at 165.4 for a couple days now, with a .2 fluctuation, but I'm hoping the next day or two will take it away, and take 164 right along with it. Crazy busy day, so can't finish the personals. Hang in there everyone who is struggling, and way to go to all of you have already made goal! |
