Sorry I've been totally slacking with the checking in...but I've been staying on plan and that is something at least!
My official weight today was 185.2lbs so I don't think I'll make the 170's by next Wednesday but here's hoping! LOL We're joining a new gym this week which will help I'm sure and DH is going to help train me. He's a lean machine! I bought some new size 14 jeans and shorts last week and they're already getting too big. It seems like this wieght loss journey is so effortless this time compared to previous attempts. Obviously I was ready! My dad has also lost 103 lbs...amazing! He's just eating well and working out. No fixed program for him and he's lost all that since his 60th birthday in February! All's well and I hope everyone is doing great and enjoying the wonderful weather. Tamara ps...I came home on June 11 to head out camping and my DH had bought me a new bicycle! So we rode around the campground and such that weekend. I hadn't ridden a bike in about 20 years! How fun! |

I was at 170.5 this morning so I think I'm going to make one of my June goals! I did go over 1600 calories a couple of times, so that one won't be achieved.

Hello, ladies! I had another WHOOSH! 132.8 pounds this morning! It's entirely possible at this rate that I might be out of the 130's by the end of the month... Who would've thought?

well I'm not making goal this month..as a matter of fact, maybe even no progress. I'm just not good with exercising and having coughing fits...and I can't seem to make them go away. They say it's allergies but nothing is helping. I'll keep in here just to see if I can make progress before the end of the month. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad:

NightAngel: Happy Birthday! Don't let yourself become discouraged. You have not given up, otherwise you wouldn't be here checking in. Keep working on figuring out the solution to your coughing fits and do mild exercise that won't set you off--are you able to walk at a brisk pace? Even a leisurely pace is activity, and will help you continue to maintain, which is what you've been doing this month, as opposed to failing, which is what you are telling yourself you've been doing. Obviously, that attitude makes you feel bad about yourself and is not encouraging, so let it go and give yourself credit for working on it, and continuing your healthy eating habits, which you will need to continue forever anyway. Hang in there, the weight loss will resume, because it's your birthday and you are in control!
bama girl: dang woman, share the wealth! You are rockin' it, what are you doing to make the weight fly off? I'm at 165.6 today, not likely to make my goal of 10 pounds for the month, which would put me at 162.4, but I'll keep plugging away and see how far I get. Thank goodness it's the weekend, but too bad there are a number of dangerous temptations in my future... |

Let's make it a day of new beginnings, a rebirth of your commitment to getting Healthy. You CAN DO this! We are here to support, encourage, and help you along! DO NOT GIVE UP! LouisaH is totally right! keep moving, it all counts. Have you tried a "Netti Pot" my husband swears by it for his allergies. You can get one inexpensive at Walgreens. He uses it everynight, and has had much improvement in coughing/congestion. Hugs, sweetie! OK girls, I am headed to the lake for some fun in the sun! I got my sunscreen, my meals planned, and my jetski! oh ok, and my suit! LOL I will be back Sunday evening. I will post the new July Thread Sunday or Monday, so be thinking on your July goals! LouisaH you have got me thinking about Onderland!!!!!!! I am very excited about that! |
