Sorry for my absence too! I had exams last week, then bf surprised me with a weekend away in Paris for Valentine's Day.
Last week and this past weekend were tough diet wise. I did loads of walking, though I definitely over ate. I went up 4 lbs. I'm doing the 4 Day Diet now, so we'll see if I'm able to break that plateau. Unfortunately, from all the walking I have nerve pain from my foot up through my leg, so I haven't been able to exercise since I've been back. Tomorrow I'll try to go swimming. |
Sounds like quite a few people are having scale issues and unfun TOM times. I'm sorry and I hope all of you have things going in the right direction very soon.
I have been being very good and have gotten all my calories in for 6 days in a row now. Unfortunately 2 of those days were dinner out and had a lot of sodium, so the scale is not my friend right now. It is headed back down now though, and since I know it is just from sodium, I'm not too upset by it. For more good news I have a new mile time record of 14:39. Yep, still slow, but improving - YAY! |
Doctors visit went well. I am stuck at 160.2!!!!! I hope to see a loss in the morning. I want 159 so bad I can taste it. I will post more later today.

Hope you are doing well! Well, 2 days back into recording my food. I'm still having hungry issues, and it's really annoying. I thought I was doing good, I made a special dinner for DH last night, but when I entered it in I got a shock. DH has Celiac's Disease, so he can't have gluten (wheat, barley & rye) so I have this great substitute flour that I use all the time. Well, I made biscuits with it last night, and I put the recipe into spark people later - 320 cals per biscuit!!! And I had 2!!! That's almost 3 times the cals in a flour biscuit. I felt so crappy. I never thought the special flour had that many more calories, but it has a lot of almond meal and things like that to make it more like wheat flour. Well, lesson learned. I was over about 200 cals for the day. So today is a new day, and I will read labels better from here on out! On other TMI news, lol, I've been taking prenatal vitamins for about 3 weeks, and they are stopping me up! Stupid iron! So I'm going to have to find something to combat that. Don't have time for tons of personals today, gotta jump into school work I didn't finish yesterday. Eclipse - I hope they can sort that stuff out for you. I can't imagine how challenging that would be, my goodness. MsP - I was just thinking the same thing, lol, is it lazy to just hang out here? I'm really liking this 136-138 area right now. I'm sure i will work on lower at some point but maintenance is rather fantastic. It's nice to just get on the scale everyday and be thrilled at the same number. Speaking of same numbers, that's where I'm at, the same and happy for it. Had a bit of a weird eating day in the city yesterday and didn't go where we planned for lunch but made good decisions on the fly and it appears to have worked out. Catch you later. |

Nella - I’m anemic and have to take iron 3 times/day. I eat pasta from fibergourmet.com at least 3-4 times/week and I have never had the typical side effects of the iron. Bonus: It is also lower calorie than normal pasta and while hubby says it tastes a little off to him he doesn‘t think it is bad, and I think it is yummy. Today my scale says 179.8. WooHoo! Good after nooon!! Doing good for the day. Went to McD and asked some questions. Got a grilled McChicken with out mayo. and a parfait. Got to the sandwich it indeed had mayo on it. I took off the top bun and all the mayo I could get off and ate it. Then enjoyed the parfait. That was better for me and my diet than the hot fudge sundae I wanted. Im happy! Weigh in this morning also made me happy with the scale goddess. 159.8 Made 150 something.~~~Got a wild hair and decided the color I dyed my hair was too dark. Got some color corrector and am processing now. Got light ash blonde color to put on afterwards. Keep ya all posted if I get to a light brown:-))))

I think I'm experiencing a Whoosh! I'm down 2.5 lbs in three days! woot! That actually puts me under the revised February goal I picked, and makes my total weight loss just over 35 lbs.

FGG - OMG that's fantastic!! Halfway is such an accomplishment, every ounce is closer to the other end now. That must feel brilliant. And I just saw your pics too, wowy!
