Have a question: Does anyone know anything for cramps in the back of your legs. Was up and down with them all last night. I was so grateful for a wall next to my bed or I would of fell down for sure. Legs a little sore but think from cramps.

Bootsie-I know a few things that can help, but none are "fool proof". First is proper hydration. Not enough water seems to help cause and intensify cramps. Second is potassium....have a banana or spinach! There are actually other good sources of potassium, but I can't think of them right now. LOL Third, you might try an OTC supplement. My parents swear by Dolomite for cramps in their legs. It's a natural supplement and is supposed to really help. Hope I've provided some possible solutions!

I have to wait to do my bike ride 'til DH gets home. I woke up nice and early to go ride and it was still totally dark out. I do not have lights or anything on my bike, so I was not about to ride in darkness. That'd be asking for trouble for sure! I told DH 'running in the dark I can do, but biking...no way!' Oh well. This is all still an experiment for me...figuring out a 'during the school year' workout routine. I'll figure it out.

Bootsie~ sorry, I didn't read the posts otherwise I would have replied! Cramps can be caused by lack of potassium so eating a banana or making you take a multi vitamin with enough potassium will help. Hubby was having major foot cramps last night--he headed downstairs and ate some salt--?! I guess a lack of salt can cause them too? I don't know, I haven't checked into that, but he said after he ate a pinch of salt it went away. He woke up with them again this morning and I told him to eat a banana--I didn't hear any more complaints of cramping after that.

Bootsie- MsP and Idream are right! It is usually electrolyte imbalance and dehydration. So drink some water, eat a banana, and if that doesn't help, I suggest a trip to the doctor for a check-up, and labwork if it has been awhile. Potassium can be over-done, so be careful. Too much is really not good either.... hope you feel better soon!

As for me, I had to literally talk myself into doing my intervals today...UGH! but I feel sooooo much better now that they are out of the way!
9/1= workout 1A (NROWL)- will walk extra at work tonight
9/2- 20 minute interval training walk/jog, 30 min walking with dog

Hi, I have been lazy this summer, so I'll start my goal at 500 minutes until I get back into the swing of things. School starts in a few days so we'll see how that goes.

Hello everyone. I would like to join this challenge, I've neglected myself for several months now, and it is time to get back on the wagon.

My Goal is 1000 minutes for this month. Got 45 in today at the gym

Thanks girls I am going to drink a-lot of water tonight before I go to bed. I have some dried banana's i will eat some of them before going to bed too. I more than likely got dehydrated outside cleaning the back yard , building the duck a place to swim etc... but I am always outside, I drink like a galoon of water though. I think I will ride the bike in 3 - 15 minute 's instead of the 45 all together. Thanks
