Well is morning I was up 2.5 lbs at 218.5 I am guessing it is water weight since until yesterday I haven't been eating totally on plan and now that I find the grocery store and have some great foods back in the house I am back in business.. I am keeping cold water on hand at all times for me so I can make sure I am drinking more water.... I have no time for personals today. DH family is all going to the race track today... I have lots to get done before we leave... Kind of crzy for me since I have very little family, now that we are here in Canada with all his family.... I have never been a part of such a huge family.... I guess that is why I have always been more keep to myself LOL... Hope you all have a fantastic-awesome day... Have a great weekend!

I'm with ya Ruth, as soon as I'm caught up reading, it's time for me to go fish a cheerio out of someones ear. At any rate, I'm just thrilled everyone is so active and reporting in, it really does help loads. Speaking of checking in, I haven't seen ms. Susie in a few days. I hope your well darling. OH MY GOSH, at all you ladies and this goat cheese phenomenon. What the hay is up with that? Tummy said, what's better than goat and cheese...and I'm thinking to myself, well A LOT of things... Jacque on hitting that 125..I'm so proud of you. It's been amazing watching your progress over the months. An honor really. Luv ya girly.
Shrinking, that's great news about the blog. I used to love blogging (as I'm a writer) but now, it's just blogging on gaming sites and nothing more. But I know how exciting it can be to get loads of views and comments...it's awesome. So congrats chicky. Shasha, on the three pounds darling, that is amazing. You are doing a fantastic job..keep up the great work, it's inspiring. FSA, you are doing a spectacular job keeping up this month, and I'm wondering if it's helping keep you on track? Is it? Well it's wonderful seeing you around so much darling.
Oh my gosh, does anyone NOT own a PS3? Anyone have a 360? NSM, this is my main platform, I'm kind of anti PS3, but perhaps one day, I'll have one. I actually burned some awesome calories playing for four hours last night. So it actually put me over my deficit for the day, which was awesome...and it means I'll be playing it often. I really like it and the fact that I'm on my feet and movin' and groovin was a big seller for me. Sandye, have I told you lately, that your awesome. Just thought you needed to hear that. Because you are. Your my sunshine on those cloudy days dear and your spirit never ceases to amaze me. You are cunning, clever and your perserverence is inspiring. I tip my hat to you, m'lady! Yes, Tummy, ol' Darth Scale is a rollarcoaster and not a very good one either, but I think we all get used to it after we are steadfast into our journeys, which makes it all the easier to deal with it..eh? Man I'm gonna miss ya, but I do hope you and yours have a groovy time. I'll be thinking about ya.
Well as for me, you ladies need to take my ego down a notch or two. I'm turning heads, and it's blowing my head up...and that's never a good thing. I just feel so good and apparently appealing again...I don't know..then you give me that guitar and I think I am a Rock Goddess or something. I seriously need to be taken down a notch.. Well I'm off to do some cleaning and transfer some songs on the 360, so I can play with my boys tonight. You ladies have a fab day and I'll check in later.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!
Wow things move fast on here...I am not sure I am going to keep up with all the posts!
Well, off to a good start today--drank 1 bottle of water, already put in 30 min of aerobics on the Wii and weighed in 1/4 pound lighter! Not much, but it's a a little in the right direction, and every little bit helps!

Well.....so it has been the first week in August and here is my update.
jeweliek: lose 12 lbs., run 48 miles, weight training 3x/wk.
I have lost 3 lbs. and ran 10 miles and did weights 2xs (the third will be tomorrow)
I told you all that I created a running monster with my hubby and he wanted to run again last night. That was 2 nights in a row. I'm so proud of him and he keeps me motivated and pushes me way more than I ever push myself. We did 3.5 miles in just under 30 min.

Yeah, I know plenty of folks that have a 360, just none of my challenge chicks here..that is what I was referring to..but good to know I'm not alone anymore.

Hi Chicks!
I am running late because I spent all morning trying to find a hypoallergenic shampoo/conditioner since what I am using now is making my life miserable..fun times...
So I'll get right to business;
Glutio: Welcome back! I had been wondering where you were . Sorry to hear about your purse though, I'd be so mad.
dcapulet: Yay! for comebacks, I am on one of those too.
Tummy: Yeah, I think I am in that "I'm starting to feel better about myself" head space and that's why I lost some momentum, Trouble is, I now look the way I *thought* I looked 30 lbs. ago, so I am nowhere near where I really want to be. No worries, I am back and I have to bid farewell to the 170's once and for all. LOL at Aunt Jemima being made out of poison. Oh, and you ARE special, even if you're not always the 1st one doing personals.
khunter: I've been curious about buffalo meat, I think I tried it once but I really can't remember. I might give it a try if I ever run into it.
nello: woohoo! can you taste ONEDERLAND now?
LTTG: Welcome back
LTBH: Glad to hear your recovery is going well
jessicado: to our Weight Loss and Exercise challenges!
mystical: Congrats on all those positive changes you and your family are making, it's wonderful that you are being able to get everyone involved.
twilightfan: Welcome
Sandye: Of course it means you'll see me here at least on most days. I still have to work on the weekend accountability thing though. Reading about your current state of affairs with the scale, I am thinking that maybe putting it away for a week or 2 might just get you out of the funk if you keep focusing on the food and exercise; and who knows, you might just find a nice surprise at the end?
Jacque: Wow, congratulations girl!
FSA: Happy Friday to you too! Is the workout done now?
jeannep: So glad to hear you are feeling so much better today. Have a great day today, k?
shasha: Congrats on the 3 lbs, you are almost half way to your goal and here's some for you....Oh and NSM is the way all the girls call me around here
SG: Wow, must be such a weird feeling to know that all those people are reading your posts. No worries about having less time now, you have to keep your priorities straight, come by when you can.
ruth: I hear ya, I've lost my post a few times, grr! congrats on the loss.
Jedi Mistress: That's so funny, we are just starting to convince the people around us to get PS3's, for the longest time, we were the only ones. All of my cousins have the Xbox and our friends didn't even have a gaming system LOL. Rock Band is so addictive, we've been known to go into the wee hours of the morning playing once or twice. Oh and you don't need to be taken down, you ARE a goddess
Ok,that's it for now, I am hungry, thirsty and haven't worked out yet, so I better get a move on
TTYL!

Ahh ok. I misread. I thought you said you were playing NSM. Were you talking about guitar hero or rock band by any chance? We have both, some of the older versions that haven't been used in a while. My SO is obsessed with Call of Duty and some fighting game.

Hey ladies! I'm away from home, so no time for personals. I am THRILLED to read about everyone's progress, scale-related or not! As our lovely Delphi commented, it's wonderfully inspiring to read about what all of you are up to with food, workouts, and other fun stuff.
My NSV moment today: I went to say hi to my mom at work quick since we were nearby. I hadn't been there in a little while. I went in and didn't see my mom right away, so I went to one of her co-workers who knows me (sort of) as we've met a dozen or so times. I said "Hey, can you tell me where my mom is?" and she was like, "Who's your mom?" I said her name and the lady's face registered embarassment and she was like "I'm sorry, Jess, let me check where she is." Then she and another of my mom's co-workers said they thought it was me, but weren't sure since I'd lost so much weight!!! AWESOME, right?!!!! I was totally stoked since both ladies normally recognize me right away! It absolutely made my day.
Here's to all the goddesses on this thread, it's about time we let our heads inflate a bit! We have much to be proud of!! You're beautiful, ladies, and don't you forget it!

Hi Ms. P.!! That is an awesome NSV, I bet you are over the moon. I am waiting for the day my own mom doesn't recognize me, although apparently she can pick me out in a crowd even from looking at my shoes!
Delphi: I either play the bass guitar or sing. When I am feeling brave I do both, but only on songs I know well. I have zero coordination when it comes to the drums so I gave up on them a long time ago and DH is obsessed with mastering the guitar . What do you play?
Workout is done for today, although if I feel like it I might add a second one later today, I am behind with my eating so I will be playing catch up all day, but that is usually not a problem (I wish).

I've been MIA and I think my weight is up.
I'm stressed & eating over it
Weigh day is Sunday. I'm thinking it's not going to be pretty.
Need to make the time & start checking in 3X a day - even if it's only a smilie
Delphi Just saw that your are looking for me.
I figured you'd rustle up a posse if didn't check in soon

Hi girlssssssssss.....I just love reading your news.
Congratualationssssss sasha, ruth, jewels, and to all of you on the losses. That is great and ty for sharing with us :chee r2:
MsPerception..........awesome NSV chicky! wtg! I always admired your way with words and what you said about the goddessess out there etc, couldn't be more true! keep shining.
Delphi, ty for the kind words : ) and yes absolutely, it helps a lot and I just love being here too. hug
hi susie.......sorry to hear you had a bad day or days........good for you for coming right back in to post and reaching out. Tis a new day tomorrow my lady.......let's keep on truckin' : ). Your right about the posting, it does help. I have been thinking of doing a mini goal day by day on here and the following day putting an emoticon to show I succeeded or didn't succeed. Been thinking about that for a while actually. It's yet another way of holding ourselves accountable and taking things day by day. Let's keep on fighting
mystical hang in there....seeing at it came on so quick im sure its water weight. Lot's of water and a good OP day or 2 should do the trick.
Hi tummygirl and NSM and to all of you. NSM, yes I got the workouts in. (thanks for checking on me ) What a day. It was sunny but dry and it felt so good to feel that fresh air. IT felt cool to me in the morning but did manage a swim after and once I started doing my laps the water felt beautiful. Dh and I went walking on the beach.
Sandye, I am doing great with my water today : ). I bought a few more jugs at the store too!
I went back to the market too and stocked up some more, bought some more of those spring mix greens and got some snow peas and this f.f ranch dressing I havn't had for a while for dipping. I feel sleepy now (prob from the sun and swim) but it's a good kind of restfulnees. I better run, I need to put my clothes in the dryer and go over my nails for tomorrow (bridal shower).
Have an awesome night and day tomorrow girls , here is some for us all over the weekend. Did I mention how much I love being here with you gals? lol Have a good one girls, chat soon
