Well not a fabulous day 1 here but I at least did something today.
July 1 - 30 minutes karate practice I should have gone for a walk but it was just too hot! I guess that is what the treadmill is for  |
Got my 30 min cardio in today yeah! I am finally getting my exercise off of the paper and into action. Thanks for your help everyone. :)
|
Posting from my Blackberry again... Hopefully this weekend I'll have time to get on the "real" internet so I can really catch up with everyone.
July 1 - 75 min total; went swimming 40 min in addition to my C25K stuff in the morning. July 2 - 10 min Week 2 Day 2 pushups program. Am exhausted and on the way to work now, so I think I'll take a little nap! (don't worry, I'm on a train!) |

Finally on to post minutes from yesterday and today..
7/1: 30 min golf, 65 min walk 7/2: 30 min walk/run intervals (C25K W2D1) The long walk yesterday was with DH!! We figured it's about 3 miles and so he's officially exercising now! Yay!!! A great start to my nminutes for the month! |
Bigknitter, hey, you got a workout in and that's good!! Yep, on hot days a treadmill does come in handy!
Ms_P, yay on DH exercising with you now!! :woohoo: Velveteen and Mystical, great job! :cp: Hi Jazzy , Delphi, and to all our ladies! We're starting July off right!! :carrot: |
Hello, fellow exercisers!
I am on vacation, visiting friends, but I managed to find a yoga studio nearby that offered 5 classes for $35. A friend and I went to one last night and although it was *not* Bikram, we were drenched in sweat. 1.5 hours. It was a lot to start with, as we are waaaaay out of practice. Today walked friend's dog for 1 hour, with some big hills thrown in. I plan to do that every day, or to walk/jog alone (the dog is not the best on leash) until I am back to my "real" life... It is eye-opening to see that I can be good even when away from home, and meeting up with friends. Also - ate really healthy meals. What I found while I was out: a veggie-tofu curry with brown rice, a natural kind of protein bar (mostly nuts), and a Mediterranean mixed salad plate with one glass of red wine for dinner. It can be done! But it does indeed require some thought and planning and being the one to make it happen (i.e., not relying on others to make bad choices). Happy July to you all |
July 1- 20 min cardio and 25 min TBL yoga
July 2- 1 mile walk (15 min), 15 min TBL Bootcamp, 20 min TBL yoga |
EmmaD, great job on the exercise and eating well!! I love that determination, chickie!! You are so right--it is up to you--and you can make it happen!! :carrot:
Crystal, good for you getting those workouts in!! :dancer: MY EXERCISE: July 1--15 min elliptical July 2--45 min strength training; 30 walking July 3-- July 4-- July 5-- |
I just finished my lower body and abs. It was much more fun with Sandye! I've had just 60 oz of water so far, but I bought a 64 oz water container today. Time for a shower, before I make my delish fish and salad for dinner. BTW, store brand (Sunnyside) yogurt does not make me swoon. This is my first post here. Is it okay to cut and paste from July weight loss, or is that redundant and lame?
|
Thanks Jacqui and Delphi!
Today I did a little bit more, but still didn't go for a walk or a run and I don't have an excuse as it was raining but I do have the treadmill. It was a long day though! Anyway. July 1 - 30 minutes karate practice July 2 - 30 minutes weights, 40 minutes yoga |
Evenin' girlies!
July 1st ~ Lower Body ST'ing, 8 Min Abs July 2nd ~ HIIT |
LTTG, it's always more fun with a partner, but good job getting your workout in anyway! :cp: I don't know the numbers, but I know there are always some people on the exercise thread who aren't on the weight loss thread and vice versa, so although a double post may be redundant for some who read it, it won't be for everyone. We're just glad you're participating, however you choose to do it! :yay:
Bigknitter, your goals don't include walking every single day; therefore, you're OP! So good job! :cp:  CMof4! |
