I will try and do this... the reason I say try and not just "I am in" is that I had surgery 5 weeks ago so I have just now been ok'd to exercise this past Thursday... I am new here and I will be feeling my way along too, so excuse me if I am doing this wrong...
I will the starting core exercises 3X a week and walking every other morning.....

Okay, now that I've met my June Exercise Challenge goals, you know I am in and ready to buckle down and LOSE MORE INCHES!! So, here are the July goals I've set for myself:
-Work on C25K challenge 3 days/wk
-Cardio 5x/wk, Strength/Core 2x/wk (minimum)
-Average over 300 min exercise/wk

Normally, I might try to ramp it up a bit more in the strength department, but I will be out of town on and off almost half the month and can't count on having facilities or equipment with me. I don't want it to be an excuse to do less, though. I know I can be very creative with exercise. So I will "git 'er done" this month!

Okay ladies...I made it through 1/4 of my June goal...so here's my plan for July:

Dog Walking - 930 mins
Regular Exercise - 930 mins (this includes my softball games once per week)

I'm bumping myself up to a total of 1860 mins for July...I can do it!!!

July Exercise Goal

24 miles WATP
300 extra minutes of exercise

*The 24 mile WATP is 4 weeks with 5 days each doing 1 mile Walk Away The Pounds, one day each week I will do one extra mile, hence the 24 miles.

300 extra minutes is 10 minutes each day doing stretches, strengthening exercises, etc.

**Beginning in February I set a goal for 100 miles watp, I reached it last week, I have added another 120 for the rest of the year, to make a total of 220. (I have ms, so this is amazing for me to be able to do this.)

Thank you for having me.

Hi,

Please count me in too ... since this is my first week at losing weight and starting the exercise I don't want to do too much too soon so at the moment I just want to concentrate on cardio. Signed up for a 10k run at the end of the year but would like to take it slow.

I'm trying for 3 x 30 minutes a week so total of 450 Minutes Cardio. Working 2 jobs at the moment so may not have the time for weights :0(

Thanks
Sarah

JustAGal, JazzyPeggy, and Slwadsworth! So good to have you! I've added you to the list! Good luck!

JazzyPeggy, I think it is amazing that you have MS and are doing the amount of exercise that you are!! Congratulations on your success and for your determined spirit!!

JustAGal, you definitely have it right! The goals are not set in stone, so as we get going, if you find that the goals you've set are too much, just let me know, and I'll change them to whatever you want, okay?

Sarah, I think you are absolutely right to start off slow. That way, you won't become overwhelmed or injure yourself!

Bigknitter , Ms_P, and Wifey, here we go, girls! I've added you to the list! You can do it!

Thanks Jacqui for starting this once more!

Ok....Lemme think....

I will be starting a new 30 day EA Challenge July 1st. Is anyone joining me on this one?

Like I said on the other thread, my mom will be here for a couple of weeks, so it might be a bit more challenging for me to get my minutes in, but I have to push myself, so my goals are:

Complete a new EA Active 30 day Challenge (I'm upping the intensity to high)
Work out 6 days a week
Work out for a minimum of 850 minutes

NSM, you are certainly welcome! Of course, I am just helping FSA out. She's the brains behind this operation!
