Wow, I'm shocked. I was the last one on here last night at 8pm and I am the first one on here today at 1pm! The last few weeks it has taken me 30 minutes to read all the messages to get caught up everytime I came on because the board has been so busy!! I guess this time I haven't missed anything........LOL!

Well, I had pancakes - damn. I wasn't going to but my husband mentioned them, I said no and then I kept thinking about it and finally caved......ugh. They were delicious but not worth the 400 calories. Oh well, I will just have to be a healthy eater the rest of the day. Pray for strength!

I will check in later. Have a great Saturday.

Morning, girls! I'll look you guys up on FB later today - you'll be able to see the pictures of my niece and I with our pin curls from our experiment last night : ) We had fun and I did well on calories on my rest day - 1248 total. Today I'm shooting for 45 min elliptical and around 13-1400. I so want to get into the 170s - haven't been there in a very long time!!

Wow...quiet forum. Sorry I've been MIA the past few days...very busy. Was at the gym Tues and Wed, and then Thursday, I caved after WW and had pizza for dinner. I finally saw Thursday night that I am a total emotional eater. The Mother in law came over and she's not my favorite person (super nosy, has to know what we're doing every minute of the day...even though we're in our 30's. Won't shut up from the minute she arrives to the minute she leaves, plus she was supposed to quit smoking before Maddie was born, and that has yet to happen). Anyway, she was over, I didn't want her there because I like to relax and have a quiet evening after working 8 hours. So, we ordered pizza and I couldn't stop myself....holy cow did I eat a lot! Damn. Over now, and moving on.

Friday, not too great either. I coordinate training for our global company, so I took a tour of the hotel and ate in their restaurant. Of course I ate more than I should have...the ladies order appetizers, desserts, and sent me back to the office with a large platter or key lime pie! Luckily, I ordered fish for lunch and it wasn't that great, so I ate some to be considerate but didn't finish. But I did have a ginger creme brule that was to die for.

Then, to add to the trifecta, today was our company bbq. Had a hotdog, hamburger, and some nachos. Dammit! Now, I'm tired from lugging a 2 year old around all day, but know that I need to go to the gym tonight. To go or not to go? That is the question. I would really love to stay home, but I know that after the past couple of days, I really need to hit the gym.

Hope you are all doing better than I am! LOL Have a great evening!

OK...weigh in day! I completely forgot to weigh in yesterday (remember I was going to cheat and weigh in a day early because I was doing a buffet for dinner last night) well...I didnt, so I decided to suffer the consequences and hop on the scale and guess what?! I am at 186 still!!! This is fantastic news because the buffet yesterday was a PASTA BUFFET! Yup, you choose whatever pasta, toppings and sauces and have it customized to your liking. I had 2 HUGE bowls...a crab cake appetizer and creme brule dessert. So...considering all that...to be at 186 still makes me very happy.

Ok Vicky..I have to know-did you go? lol.

Dance and Sandy - thanks for adding me to your Facebook friends. Dance-I love the pics of you and your niece, so prettyIll try to check in later.

Howdy, girls!
Maddiesmom - were you able to turn the weekend around a bit food and exercise wise? Curious to hear....
Lindy - way to maintain given the temptations of the evil pasta buffet : ) Nicely done!

I'm doing a little happy dance around the kitchen - 179! For the first time in at least 5 years, I think. Thanks for all your support and encouragement! That's half the weight gone, another half (19lbs) to go. I have a feeling the second half is harder...

I'm going to try to stick to 1300 and at least an hour's cardio today. Hope you all are doing well...

Dance - Woo Hoo! 179!!! Thats is awesome. Here is my 'Happy Dance' for you!! I have to admit, now I am pissed off at myself and am refocusing (once again)! Thanks for the encouragement!

Lindy- Woo Hoo To YOU Too!!!!!!! That is awesome 186 and being able to enjoy a buffet too! It doesn't get better than that......LOL....Congrates!

Maddie - Kudo's to you too for hitting the gym. I wish I had done the same, but I am slacking BIG TIME! Don't be hard on yourself for get-togethers and BBQ, as it's going to happen, but as long as your hitting the gym your metabolism should be high. Keep it up and have a good week!

It is also nice to see all three of you on FB. Burgund is also on there and if you need her link, let me know.

Today is Mikes birthday (husband), so there has been food, and more food. I'll leave it at that! UGH! LOL..............It's a new week! Hooyah!

Dance Congratulations!! How great is that!! Those long hikes must be working!!

Lindy: Great job on maintaining. And to answer your question, nope didn't make it to the gym last night. Right as I was about to go, Madeline woke up screaming and turning her light on and off, so at 9:30 last night she was wide awake and we had to rearrange her entire nursery so she wouldn't be able to play with the lights. Then, she was wide awake, and my hubby and I had such a long day, there was no way I coulda made it. BUT...I did go today. Did the weights for an hour and headed home. Going tomorrow for a date with the cardio equipment. Lucky me!!

Official weigh in....247! Down a pound from last week. I'll take it considering the splurging I did this weekend. I did turn my eating around today though. Lean Cuisine makes these new panini's that are really good. Had a grilled chix breast sandwich on these thin multigrain buns that are made by Arnold (Arnold is the brand). It's only 1 WW point, 100 calories for the top and bottom of the bun. It tasted really good with grilled chix and some tomato.

Sandy: DOn't worry about the weekend, tomorrow is another day.

Oh, one other question. Do you ladies find that you're losing weight in strange places? Example: my wedding band and engagement ring are now loose on my finger and my watch is super loose. Just wondering if I'm the only one...

Hey girls - Hope everyone had a good weekend. My exercise plans fizzled today so decided to call it a rest day (which means exercising the rest of the week!) but kept the food part low at 1245 and I should be done eating for the night. I now have an elliptical and a borrowed rowing machine in the house so I should have no excuses not to exercise, even though I can't run for a bit more. Am hoping one more week of leg lifts will be enough...

Maddiesmom - congrats on the pound and feeling the weight come off in all kinds of crazy places! I haven't noticed anything seriously unusual but I do have to lace my hiking boots much tighter now.

Sorry I have been MIA for a week. Family left Friday so things are back to normal here. I didnt get to weigh in this week, I stepped on my scale this morning like 8 times and everytime it said I was 209 or 208, so I am assuming I need a new battery. So I am skipping the weigh in this week but will weigh in next week. Its been raining for the past 3 days so no walks for me. I didnt eat well while my family was here. Tomorrow we are going to the grocery store, so I am gonna get back to eating right. I am just gonna start catching up with everyone from this point on, not gonna try to go back 4 or 5 pages. Hope everyone is having a great night and I will try to check in tomorrow. Ah, I am on facebook, Allison Brisendine Williams and I agree with keeping our weight issues here.

Morning ladies!

Vicky - kudos to you and your 1 lb. Your going to get there in no time. Yeah, I saw your status update on Facebook about Maddie. LOL...I couldnt help but laugh out loud when I read it because I have been there. At the time, you mumble under your breath about having to do it, but a couple of days later, it really is quite funny. Anyhow, good job getting to the gym on Sunday. We cant be perfect all the time. Last week I missed 3 gym days. I actually only went to the gym on Monday and Tuesday...such a slacker (it was for other reasons though, not just laziness). I ended up staying up until 1 a.m. this morning tossing and turning, my mind was going 100 mph. Amazingly enough, I woke up at 5 a.m. and made it to the gym. Woo-hoo!

Oh and Vicky, to answer your question, um...yes. My foot is definately "thinner", I know that sounds so weird and my wedding ring is looser, big time.

Burgundy - glad to see you back on board. Too bad your scale was giving false reads...thats so mean, lol.

Burgundy- Nice to see you again! Good luck getting the scale sorted - that must be frustrating.

Lindy - Is this day one without your daughter? Are you doing okay?

So, yesterday went south after my last post and my total for the day was 1700 cal instead, higher than I was shooting for : (

As a result, I'm trying to plan my exercise more carefully for the rest of the week since that helps me stay on track. Here's the plan:
Mon - evening walk with a friend
Tues - 30 min jog, 30 min row
Weds - (taking the day off from work) 2-3 hr hike w/ my sis
Thurs - 30 min jog, 30 min row
Fri - 30 min elliptical
Sat - 2 hr hike

What are your goals for the week? Let's help each other stick to them!

Dance - I LOVE you being part of this forum. You are so on top of things in the accountability area and super supportive -

No, this is actually day 2 without my daughter. She ended up leaving a day earlier on Saturday. Saturday night was ok. I stayed up all night watching movies and eating a bucket of Cream Soda Jelly Belly Jelly Beans, lol...ooops...did I just confess to that?! Sunday was ok. I got in a HUGE fight with my mom and were not talking right now (Ill explain that in a second) and then I went shopping with my Aunt all day. Seriously, from like 12 noon to 830 at night! Crazy. I bought 2 dresses, 2 shirts, 2 pairs of shoes and some decor for my bedroom wallks. When I got home and was by myself I started getting sad. Partially because I missed her and partially because I missed my husband. It sucked. Then I tried to go to bed at 10 p.m. but tossed and turned until 1130. Then I got up and took a shower to relax me, then tossed and turned until about 1. Ok, back to my mom. Me and her are so close that sometimes we see each other too much and start to get on each others nerves. Yesterday was one of those days. Well, after snipping at each other several times, she finally busted out with-"Ya know Nicole, ever since you started losing weight, you think you are so high and mightly, that your better than everyone else". Uhhhh...that infuriated me so much. I told her that I had no desire to talk to her for a while because what she said was extremely hurtful. This is not the first time she has said that either. Several years ago I lost a lot of weight and she said the same thing, yes I remember that because it was hurtful then. I have to admit one thing about my personality. I am a very supportive, kind hearted person BUT if you tick me off, I am a very unforgiving person. I know...I know, this is not a good trait to have and it has caused some major damage in a lot of my personal relationships but its one thing that I cannot change. Even typing this right now, I am so mad that I truly believe that I can go a couple weeks without talking to her right now. My weigh is such a sore subject and how dare anyone make such a comment when its a battle everyday. I know a lot of you might say that I am overreacting or to stop with my nonsense but trust me, there is no talking me out of this when Im upset. When my dad left my mom (divorce), I did not talk to him for 6 month! I know-crazy and mean, but I just cant help it.

My plan for this week:

1400 calories everyday with no pasta, bread or potato products.
5 days of exercise at the gym for 1 hour

Ok-sorry for babbling. Thanks for letting me vent.
