Ican, I don't envy your next two weeks, but just think about the accomplishment that is waiting for you at the end! I wouldn't worry about cutting back on the exercise. I think you have to prioritize your time right now, and with such little sleep, it makes perfect sense that you would take the time to nap! Good luck on your thesis! :goodluck:

Terapet, I have to laugh at the clothes shopping. I have a 19-year-old daughter so I know what you're up against! :dizzy: Lol!

Terapet........dance fever baby! lol, I like that! Oh it sounds neat, thanks for telling us more about it. You ahve been working very hard and doing terrific. Regarding today, sure things come up sometime...especially now so close to the holiday. Hope you had a nice day shopping with daughter. I need to find something still to wear too and nope, it wont be a sleeveless sundress for me either! lol and I'm way past 18! :lol: Hope you had a nice time : ).

Icandoallthings, good for you for :book2: and congrats on the 40 pages thus far! That is great. I agree with Jacqui. Studying very hard like that can be tiring and your body probably wants and needs those naps, especially on such little sleep. Anyhow, keep up the great work. The exercise will be there when and if you have extra time and/or when your done with your thesis. THanks for your encouraging words : ) .

Cakebatter, I know it girl. THe time seems to have gone by so fast, I feel the same way. Wtg on the workout and the 3 miles :carrot::carrot: cakebatter? yup, I'm an animal baby! :lol: Oh , I started laughing when I read that! haha :)

Girls, I feel tired. I am going to hit the hay. IT was real busy today but I didn't get as much done as I had hoped ,so I will have to finish up some things tomorrow before Easter. I did a 50 minute walk and it wasn't until early evening! Having you all here really helps, like cake said, we hold ourselves accountable! 4/2- 1 mile (15 minutes on nordic track) + long bad day at work!
4/3- 3.3 miles on nordic track, upperbody weights, and 2x40 reps ab lounge
4/4- 4 mile hike, .5 miles nordic track
4/5- shopping? I did get like 8000+ steps but did not sweat
4/6- 40 min Nordic track, upper body wts, 100 reps on ab lounge.
4/7- 57 min Nordictrack (3.3 miles), Walk 1 mile, 40 reps on ab lounge
4/8- 1.6 mile walk in the hay field
week 1 total miles-20.3 miles!!
4/9- 10771 steps at work today.....did all the extra gofering as I could.
4/10 sat and did taxes all day:stress:, got called into work early:stress:
4/11 1.3 miles on the nordic track, then got called in to work again:dizzy:

Hi girls, quickie post for now but wanted to say hi and i hope you all had a fabulous day. I didn't do anything yesterday but I got everything else done that I needed to do, except those plants! lol. Got in an hour today...with a real big push to start. I have to go so I will be back in the morning to post my minutes. New day tomorrow girls, let's hop right back to business. :hug:

Jacqui I am with you. I came in to wirk late to go to the gym..hehe. I ran 3.5 miles this morning and then I anm going for a second workout this evening after work. FSA you have the most encouraging posts lady. I love the "animal mentatlity". Lewisempire no worries. We get busy sometimes and then we squeeze in exercise in all the cracks ya know? I hope everyone had a good weekend. I am trying to clock 13 miles this week in honor of the past weekend.

A quick note to say I am OP and keeping busy. Still can't post too regularly, but I think I may have dropped some weight but can't tell for sure b/c I FORGOT MY SCALE on this first leg of our move! OOPS! Oh well...can't post minutes at the moment, but I have been going for long walks pretty much everyday plus other stuff when time permits. You ladies are making me proud to be a part of this group! Keep on doing it, ladies!!!

I haven't checked in for a bit because school work is my whole life for the next 11 days and I had lots of commitments on the easter holiday and didn't get a work-out in. I've decided to stop weighing myself so I don't add any EXTRA stress to my life at the moment, but I want to keep up with my exercise as best I can because it helps keep me sane and helps me sleep better (when I get the chance to sleep, haha).

I managed to run a 5k this weekend, walked a mile today, and I got some light weights and push-ups in this evening. EDIT: Actually, after I took a brief nap this afternoon I felt reenergized and so I went out a did a 5k run, and it definitely feels good to have gotten some exercise!

My new totals:
(total/walk/run=16.8/3/13.8)

I'll have to pick it up a bit if I want to hit my goal for the month of fifty miles, but I think I can do it if I stay focused and crank out a lot of miles after I turn my thesis in on April 24.

Good luck this week, everyone! All your hard work is inspiring!

Hey Ladies, I am still around and kickin! Just got home from the gym and managed to complete the full 30 minute jogging/walking thing, i normally wuss out at 15 minute and walk the rest lol but not today! Going to go again after work and do some weights to knock off another one of those. Its been a crazy long weekend for me. Offer on the house was accepted wednesday, had a home inspection friday (4 freaking hours long lol) had a contractor come in sunday to give a quote on fixing a small problem with the foundation, then was at the bank for financing yesterday, and I worked sat and sun lol. But im still alive!!!
