For real? Where are you? I am so ready for 65 to 75 degree days for about 2 months, how about you? I'm soooo sick of rain, and clouds. It was even sleeting here earlier.

Still struggling. I did do the WATP 2 miles again, but I can do so much better. *sigh* The Banana bread is calling my name! I'm fixing to go toss the whole thing lol!

Good Afternoon Chickie Chicks :)

Well, I'm up 1 lb. I know that it's that good for nothing TOM. I'm witcha pinto. I ate so much that I don't even want to look at food :barf:. I'm going to go home and make dinner for hubby and son and that's it. Nothing for me.
Now Diva and Moon - I wish it was 65 -70 degrees here. I'm stuck with 34 degrees. It may hit 45 this weekend :crossed:. I was out the other day with my son and hubby at our high school to field some baseballs and it was freezing but that's how we roll in upstate ny ;).
To all the rest of you chicas - keep up the good work :carrot:

I did my grocery shopping for the week. I was pleasantly surprised that even with all the fresh fruit, my total was about $20 less than usual. :) I've even got most of my meals already portioned out and ready to cook. Hopefully this will make sticking to a plan easier for me.

I'm out in Kodak. I'm so ready for spring! The past few days have been heaven, and then this nastiness today. IMO, anything below 65 is just too cold, and snow is a bad word in this house. lol

Well that's just all your fault for living in the north! lol Actually, before living here, I lived in Upper MI. I have memories of snow on both Halloween and Easter. *shudder* I've just lived here too long, and we've actually been discussing moving further south. I can handle 90 degrees way better than I can handle 40 degrees. In my perfect world, it would always be 65-85 degrees.

Diva 03-12-2009 09:44 PM

Moon, that would be my perfect world too! I have a friend, Jessica Whaley that lives in Kodak. We've considered it too, but it seems once ya get in Newport, ya never get out lol! I've been here 7 yrs! But I started off living in Sevierville. :) It's supposed to climb back into the 60's next week! YAY!!!

Well, TOM is here and so explains my "eat everything in sight" and "I am starving" syndromes. I should know better and be able to control this, gah!! :mad: I actually feel tired and drained. I have a hair cut appointment today (after SO long) so I hope it makes my mood little better.

I am sick and tired of cold weather now. Spring com'on over.

Moon, I find planning and prepping food ready to cook meals helps a great deal in staying OP. It may seem a lot of work sometimes but it gets easier with time. Awesome job!! I sometimes cook stuff on the weekend for the whole week and then freeze it too.

Suzy, that 1lb will go away soon. Trust me, I know the feeling. Keep up the good work :)

Good morning :coffee:

TGIF Ladies :carrot:. I'm not doing good. My weigh in days are on Saturdays but I always cheat during the week and sneak a peek (I know I shouldn't do this). Well on Wednesday I weighed 272 and yesterday I weighed 275. I know that it's my fault but it's still so hard! I felt bummed all day yesterday and I over ate. I'm trying to be optimistic today and have a positive out look but it's hard. I'm so sick and tired of doing so good and then failing. I feel like I'm always trying to catch up to where I was. I'll lose a few pounds, mess up, gain some of those pounds back and then try to get back to where I was. Ughhhhhhhhh...It just sucks :mad:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Roni~~ Thanks for setting this up! I think it's really gonna help all of us and give us the support and motivation we need!! I Loooooooggggggeeeeeee my sista from anotha motha :hug:~~Did you throw the banana bread away? I do that sometimes. I'll pour water on it and then throw it away..LOL!!! Are you gonna go to the gym today?
Nicki~~ .5 is better than nothing! Great job!!!!!
dandk0204~~ 8lbs??!!!! That's great!!!!!! That's a lot of exercise in one day! Good for you!!!!!!
Pinto~~ I'm not really following any particular plan. Following a certain plan never works for me. I exercise Monday through Friday (Biggest Loser workouts) and I TRY to make better eating choices. I do however have to start calorie counting again!
SuzyQ~~Sorry about the 1 pound. I hate TOM!!!! He ruins everything!
Moon Faerie~~Awesome planning!!! I really should do that! It will make it so much easier for me to stick to plan. I think I'll try and make a plan on Sunday or Saturday night.
Have a wonderful Friday the 13th everyone :goodvibes
You're very welcome, and like I said before this is just as much for me as it is for all of y'all. I can't do this without the support of my friends! :hug:
I have a problem with getting on that dang scale too and it always blows up in my face! I had a rough day yesterday too and ate everything in site...sigh... O'well. Today is a new day and yes! i DID toss the Banana bread! LOL! Nope no GYM today I have to go do some grocery shopping and get my house cleaned up for company. :) I will try and hit it tomorrow though. I am doing the 3FC 5k next week, so I need to train!
Moon Faerie~~Awesome planning!!! I try and do that every week too. it really does help keep me OP, especially when I don't buy the crap that makes me fat! lol That's hard sometimes though, because my Man and my son are both tall and skinny and can eat whatever they want, so junk does get bought. It's hard...
SuzyQ~~Sorry about the 1 pound. I hate TOM! It stinks being a girl sometimes....
Have a great Weekend everyone! Much luv!:hug:
Doing good! I adjusted my sig cuz I reached my St Patty's Day goal so my Memorial Day goal is now on there. Woo hoo!!!!
Fat Pants 03-13-2009 04:07 PM
I need a challenge! Can I play? Huh? Huh? Can I? :D
I am aiming for 15 lbs by Memorial Day...I'm losing around 1 to 1.5 lbs a week right now so that seems reasonable. Anything more is just a bonus!
SW: 198
GW: 183
I don't really have a particular plan except counting calories and exercising my heart out. :ebike: DH and I are going on vacation in July and I would love to be 170 by then...this is a good way to start!
risab 03-13-2009 04:13 PM
I have to say it....I hate the weekends!!!! I soooooo want to stay OP, but date night is tomorrow night. I have been so good all week. Weigh in is on Tuesday. Hope you guys have a great weekend. I will try to check in.
Afternoon Chicas :wave:
Thanks everyone for your kind words :).
Time~ I have had many days like yours. I would do great for a few days and then blow it on a couple of bad choices. It sucks that it happens. We are always beating ourselves up for it and it sets us up for failure. I take my days one at a time. If I have a great day, great. If my day was hard and awlful - I just dust myself and try again. Slow and steady wins the race :hug:.
No change for me. I hope you all have a great rest of the day. I'll check all you Fab ladies later :D
Girl, I feel ya! Weekends are very hard for me too. My man wants to sit around and eat junk all day it its very hard for me not to join him.
Anyhoo, today I ate too many calories today and yesterday, therefore no changes on the scale so I had a salad and low cal dressing for dinner. *sigh*
Hey is any one doing the 3FC 5k next week???
Anyhoo, I think we are gonna mostly have rain this weekend so I'll prolly stick my nose in a book and try and keep it out of the fridge. lol! Anyone reading anything cool right now? I'm on the first book of the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. It's pretty good so far.
Be strong chickies!:hug:
