I just finished day 2 of week 2 today. I felt it was much more difficult to run outside. I have been doing all of the runs at the campus gym, but I am home for the long weekend (we get veterans day off) so I dont have access to a treadmill. I used goggle maps to see how far I went. I felt like I was running and walking slower, but my time and distance say otherwise. I am still having trouble with the last 3 min of running. I hope that I can get it all by day 3. I am a little afraid of starting week 4 next week, but I have to stay on track if I want to do the 5ks(week 9) the week of christmas. ... Just keep swimming... (~finding nemo)

I did find week two a bit easier but I was a bit under the weather and found the second day really tough! I'll start the week three thread on Monday.

I just finished week3 day3 (i skipped wk1). It was a lot easier today and I finished two and a half minutes faster! It is so exciting when you get those little victories. It makes you feel empowered and wanting to keep it at this higher level. I am going to buckle down on my diet and water this week and keep up with the exercise. My mini goal is to stay on plan with these through friday. No slip ups.

I dont know if you all are listening to music while you do these runs, but I find it helpful to make a play list that corresponds to that weeks running so that when the song changes I switch from running to walking or visa versa. It has worked well for me.

Gatorgirl I do listen to a program that was set up and tells you when to change from walking/running http://www.ullreys.com/robert/Podcasts/page6/page6.html

There are some other websites that someone listed in Couch to 5K week 1 but I couldn't pull them up on my desktop computer.

I did finish week 3 day 1 today and getting quicker as well but today I was really tired, very tired.

So how is everyone doing?
