Eny~Yes, I was talking about the TBL. Wouldn't it be so cool if MM, You, BlueS, BeachLuvr, and I got on the same team! I get ditzy too.

Goals for the day: 1. stay on Program with YOAD 2. Get 30 minutes of Cardio 3. Do upper body strength training either with the stability ball or resistance band. Catch ya all later. Pat

Hey folks. I just wanted to check in. I got off work Tuesday at 7 am, and it's been crazy since then. I haven't really had time to catch up on the thread.

Not sure how I managed it, but it looks like I actually lost weight over the hurricane lock in. Considering the free food and all, I'm not sure how I pulled it off.

But it's moving.

Hope everyone's doing well!

Shaker~I am so glad that you are okay! Good to hear from you. WTG on your weight loss!

I got an hour of walking around the house done. I am not going to be able to do stepping until my hip recovers. Exercise is exercise. I am going to do some strength work on the upper body. I still have a dull headache, don't know what triggered it, but it has been an all day thing. Catch ya all tomorrow. Pat

Morning everybody!
I am up this morning, not sure why...more water today to try and flush it all out.
Really aggravating because I have been spot on. Passed on the wonderful looking chocolate cake yesterday at work and all. Whatever...

Earthshaker, so glad to hear you weathered the storm. WTG on losing during lock in!

Pat, I am with you. My knees hurt, so I am way down on exercise but keeping at it with what I can do.

Busy weekend planned but aren't they all, never enough time. TTYL

Pat - is the leg feeling better?

MM - I understand... I've been completely on this week to, and up a little this morning. *sigh* I think I may have ate too late last night, and didn't give enough tim to burn it off before bed.

I feel like crap today! I had to get a copolscopy done yesterday, and so I'm cramping BIG TIME! I'm "working" from home today - but really just trying to take it easy. I also have a baby quitle that HAS to get done today!!! AHHH!!!!!

Good morning everyone!

So glad that you and most folks in your community are OK, Earthshaker, and congrats on the weight loss. Never easy, especially under such stress!

Pat, hope you're feeling better soon. I always find when my back or my hips hurt, then EVERYTHING hurts! I give you a lot of credit for being able to exercise at all.

I wound up having a really crummy evening. I had to do something with my daughter after work and got home later than I'd planned, so I wasn't able to do my regular walk. (It's starting to get dark out earlier - I'm going to have to plan for that from now on!) Anyway, I was going to ride the stationary bike instead, but as soon as I walked in I was bombarded with a bunch of stuff that just ticked me off. Instead of biking, I wound up sitting around reading and watching the ballgame. On the plus side, I didn't eat anything, whereas a couple of weeks ago, I'd have had a bag of chips while watching. To offset yesterday's snafu, I'm off to ride the bike now, in addition to walking tonight.

Hope everyone has a great day!

rmc~Proud of you!! While I watch a ball game I exercise. Maybe you can make your own workout a game within a game. It works for me. At commercial break I step it up. You can do weights while the game is on, cardio at breaks. Where ever your imagination leads you.

Eny~I am sorry to hear you don't feel good today. Are you about done with the quilt? The quilt will help you relax. I am feeling better today. The hip is not quite so achy. I might be able to walk outside. I got to get this body moving. I am tired of 182!!!!!

MM~Do you have arthritis in your knee? Are you able to run at all-jog? You weigh less than I do. I am going to have to get some icy hot patches or some kind of heat patch to help my hip, would that work for you? Christmas isn't that far away. Halloween and Thanksgiving are looming larger.

Shaker~Again, it is so good to know that you and your family are fine. Will hurricane Hannah affect you?

Catch ya all later Pat

Eny~ Congratulations on the wedding! Wow. So close, too! What motivation, eh?

Dixie, so sorry to hear about your colonoscopy. Those are never fun. Take care of yourself.

Thanks for all the wellwishes, all. We were lucky. Some friends in Baton Rouge weren't so lucky. I hope they don't have the insurance issues we did. Unless Hannah crosses the peninsula of Florida, that's one less we'll have to worry about.

Off to the gym. I'm finally eating my Chinese today (after months heh), and I want to make sure I get my full time in. Not official till Monday, and maybe a bit up if I don't watch it, but down to 291.4 as of this morning.

300's getting further and further away!

Have a wonderful weekend, all!

Hi everyone!

EarthShaker!!! Good to see you again! Glad all is well and you're losing too!

Eny, sorry you had to have a colposcopy ... I've had that done before too so I know what you're going thru. I've put off going to my gyn for a long time ... need to make an appointment, always dread it. So, are you sewing, crocheting or knitting? That quilt will be a gift they treasure! People love hand-made gifts like that! I used to crochet a little. Haven't done it in years tho. My *other* hobby (playing on the internet) seems to have taken the place of lots of things I used to do ... well that and life in general. lol

Dixie, glad you're feeling better. How's the YOAD going? I won't go into all the details but I thought I could have something super sweet yesterday after breakfast and it set me up for an all-day binge! When will I ever learn? UGH!

rmc, on the NSV! Good for you not eating ... that would have been an emotional trigger for me to eat for sure!

mothermavis, don't you hate it when the scale does that? I think mine sees more ups than downs! lol Hang in there. You're doing great. Just a small blip.

Hi to anyone I missed! Have a great day everyone!

I'm sewing it. But I'm actually selling it to a co-worker for her to give-away.

Despite yesterday's exercise fiasco and one or two other bumps in the road, I hit the 10 lb. mark today I know things will slow down now, but I don't even care. I just feel so much better! Thanks for all the motivation and inspiration!!!
