  • I will definitely report back as soon as I have the guts to try the Jillian program. I think it will be tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!!
  • Hi everyone

Just wanted to do my check in. Wii fit all week! Yeah! Eating OP. No candy for Halloween. CANDY = BAD

  • just checking in to say that i've just finished reading all of your posts and I just purchased my wii fit and will be joining you all shortly--- i can't wait to get home to try this baby out

ok i've done it for two days now---

day one -- i was like ok this is ok but not working a sweat===did it for about 30 min--- but didnt get that into it----

day two--- i did it for one whole hour=== i kept going until i reached the hour mark and then i didnt want to stop--but i did==== anyway-- i really got into it and did the aerobics and balance games and unlocked a few games and advanced levels---

i found that the balance and aerobic games are a lot more exciting than the strength and yoga--- although i'm still going to do them-- i'm just not that excited with them--

i had a blast with the soccer one and the hula hoops ---the ski one was ok=== but the advanced ski is much more exciting but i kinda suck at it ---oh well thats what practice is for--- and the tightrope is hard but i made it after several tries and the advanced one for it where you're moving down the river is fun too
  • Hey everyone! I haven't posted in this thread before. I just wanted to share that today I did 60 min of wii fit (30 of various aerobic and 30 balance) and according to my polar heart rate watch I burned 463 calories!!! How awesome is that I'm very excited about this.
  • I did an hour and 40 min yesterday--- i had to get off to go to sleep--and besides i couldnt move anymore and i'm still sore today--- but definetly got a great workout!! i love this system ---

so what are the best games for the wii or wii fit--- i know wii fit games are super limited at the moment=-but what is just as fun as the wii fit games--- i want ones that include a lot of movement so that i can consider them workouts as well

oh and i'm looking into buying dance dance revolution--- it looks great and has great reviews---
  • Day 3 ===super sore from yesterday ---but i put in my hour for the day---

    i did 30 min day 1
1 hour and 40 min day 2--- super sore from it-i think the hula hoops got me cause the soreness is mostly in the hips and side area
    1 hour day 3
  • Love love love my Dance Dance Revolution!

Still haven't had the guts to try Jillian's Wii Fit program. I have it still in its box! But I've been so hit-or-miss with my daily Wii Fit routine (can't really call it "daily," I've been sooooooo off so much of the past few weeks) that I'm afraid she would really kick my butt!

    But soon. Soon!!!

I do love my Wii Fit and am glad to have it as a way to get moving and sweating! Very good addition to my "daily routine" when I do it! Just gotta do it more and more!
  • logged on 45 min yesterday with hula aerobics and balance games ---did it while carrying the baby---
  • Wow, Princess.. With the baby? Did the baby have fun? lol

I have been doing boxing, and free step and hula hoops. I am now doing free steps while holding weights. Boy, I can feel the difference!

    Happy wii fitting!!
  • yeah---he loves it and gets a great kick out of it--- so its either carry him and do it---let him play on the floor and constantly get on the board himself where i can trip over him or--- wait until he's asleep and i'm too exhausted to do anything--- so yeah thats what i have to go through to get a workout lol
  • That is sooooo impressive and inspiring!! WOW!
  • Ok so I saw this thread and had to read! I am looking to buy a wii fit... hopefully either black friday or for christmas. I have been looking online to see if it really does help you burn calories and count as "exercise". Have you seen weight loss? anyone will to share results? What you've had to to in order for those results? Thanks =)
  • Hi Tink

I have been using wii fit as a PM exercise. I do the treadmill in the AM. I have lost 33 lbs. since August. I do work up a sweat with wii fit. It depends on what you do and for how long. I love the boxing. I also figure that it gets me off the couch and moving...and that can't be bad. I just started trying out more of the strength training and muscles are sore. I think as long as you use wii fit with a good eating plan you will probably lose weight.

    I hope this helps.

Yes. I've lost weight. I've lost inches. I've toned up.

I had lost 35 pounds before starting Wii Fit and have lost another 10+ pounds since starting to use Wii Fit. But it's not just the NUMBER of pounds that has made a difference. THIS ten pounds, amazingly, is what has made people STOP ME and ask, "What are you doing?!? You look FANTASTIC!"

So, this has really put things where they "look better" on my body, let's say.

I've lost a grand total of 6" off my waist, but 2" of that came off due to Wii Fit. And if I only lost 10 pounds doing Wii Fit, but took 2" off my waist through that 10 pound loss, I'd say that's a GREAT example of how well the Wii Fit is working for me.

As for "what I had to do for those results," you can just look back at this thread. I've posted my routine several times throughout the process.

I'm about to step things up to reach a mini-goal before year-end. Very excited about that and hope to report even more exciting results!

    Good luck, everyone! Happy Wii-ing!
  • Hello, all. Is it too late to get in on the challenge? I do Wii fit for 30 to 60 minutes 6 times a week. Can I play, too?
