Hey everyone! didn't mean to sound like I was getting all hard core and putting on pressure. I get that way when I'm frustrated with my own lack of progress. I really need someone to step up and say "Hey, what about this or that." It helps me.

So yesterday I was up even more and didn't work out except to rake grass and other yard work. Felt like feasting on all bad stuff, but didn't. Drank some water, ate 14oo calories, went to bed. I am down a tad today. In my brain I know my body is weird and doesn't do what I want it to do. I just have to keep doing what I have been doing and eventually I will lose again. However, when I gain, and have been on plan, I get so frustrated I can't see straight. So I am trying to relax today and move forward with the plan.

See ya later!

You don't have to defend yourself Mindy. There are plenty of frustrating times for all of us, we understand. Body's are weird.I have plenty of scale fluctuations up and down. Sometimes I don't feel like working out, sometimes I want to eat and eat and eat. Sometimes I make myself go to the gym, other times I dont. Sometimes, I say ok my body is telling me something so I eat more. The trick is not to let myself do that every day AND not to criticize myself when I do. Its the criticizing that causes me to go into a downward spiral. I really have to watch my body cues, energy level, crankiness, depression. I know when I'm eating too much, not enough or working out to much or not enough.

I have been so busy over the last few days I slept through my alarm, so no workout yet (I will attemt to get one in tonight) or this afternoon. I may take the kiddos for a walk not an intense workout, but it is moving.

ya know, if i could just stick to a plan i create, i'd be ok. Problem is, life gets in the way LOL

we had a really bad fight last night and i'm not up for anything but sleep and aleve. and the aleve's not working much anymore. so i've got a stress headache and numb hands and a DH who needs to go off for 2 weeks and get out of my dang hair. that way I can get myself going again. he's supposed to have leave sometime soon i think, and i'm pretty sure he didn't schedule it for the week i'm off in August, which means i'll go to socal by myself if i have to.

btw i started my double load of classes two weeks ago. I love it. I love staying busy like that. I'll love it even more when I can get my workouts set up so I can actually work out, then work on school. I may just put the treadmill in my sunroom until the garage gets cleared out. that I think I can move, it has wheels

Have fun AUD!

Yesterday was a bust. I had a migrane (haven't had one like that in about 10 years) I could barely function, I thought: water first, then food. UGH avoiding the scale today. Oh and No the food didnt make it any better Today isn't starting off much better, bad moods all the way around. Movie date with DH which I am ready to cancel he is driving me insane. Then I have a BBQ with my family today. UGH! I hope the coffee kicks in soon.

WAITAMINUTE! You're coming to Ohio!!!!!!!!

I'm so excited!!!!! You are going to LOVE Cedar Point! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I had no idea! Isn't it funny how you can't imagine someone coming to your homestate for VACATION? I think of vacay as Myrtle or Florida or whatever. Oh I am so going to meet up with you! But I live about 2 hrs away from CP and Cleveland. I think you'll like the Rock Hall, but DH said it wasn't worth the trip alone, but it's nice if you were going up there anyways to pop in.

YAY! I am just tickled!

Kinda slow round these parts lately, eh? The end of a challenge always has us tapering off. I hear ya'll about the diet mindset, I know in the back of my mind I believe that I only have to eat this way until I get thin, then I can go back to my old ways, but the smart chick in me knows alot better.

Oh wait....do you remember when I quit my old Ladies gym and joined that community center so I can go with DH and the kids....well I've been really missing my old gym. More equipment, times of the classes more towards my schedule, more cardio machines, TVS!, Just a bigger more modern place. Well they put up a sign to sign up now for only $15 a month. Ya can't beat that. So I went back. Figuring I could go to the ladies gym on my own time and the community center with the family. DH was a little ticked, said it doesn't make sense to belong to two places at once. But I don't care. I think I'll start losing again going back to my old place.

OMG new food discovery....do any of you wilt spinach into any of your recipes? I found a recipe (on here, no less) for stuffed peppers TONS of veggies in it, like green peppers, onion, tomato, whatever you like, then a bunch of wilted spinach, and I really liked it! So I've been putting spinach into everything! I don't think it has a strong flavor, but it adds something nice for me, not to mention the nutritional value.

OH question....what do you guys do when you feel full eating healthy food? For instance, eating breakfast oatmeal, when I get full should I just stop eating (which is what I think) OR should you finish the serving size so you can get all the protein and fiber you wanted in the first place?

OOOOOhhh I got to go to the casino yesterday, lost my money but had a lot of fun. My friend won a bunch on the slots....how bout that? I never hit on the slots.

House needs cleaned. I think DH gets to come home early today, for the holiday. Hope you all have a safe, healthy 4th.

Oh any good recipes to take with you on your picnics? I am looking to WOW DH's family....I always do that, then they get so funny. One year I made a good pizza pasta salad, got rave reviews about it THEN told them it was turkey pepperoni and all of a sudden it was, "I thought it tasted a little funny" and no one ate it after that. People are funny aren't they? Oh I make this YUMMY dessert....let me find it and I'll post it, we all LOVE this recipe and it is really reasonable.

xooxox Michelle (eagerly anticipating AUD's visit!)

oh dang Jen that's not right. i don't like headaches like that. Had 2 of them this year.

we got our tv sorta set up. we still need to deal with finding the right blu-ray thing, DH's being very picky about curtains (he wants traverse drapes, I would rather have curtains that aren't expensive and I can make myself) and oh since this is the first day of his "weekend" he'll get wasted tonight while i"m at rehearsal TOM should be here today too....i'm so excited!

Hey ladies. Just a quick check-in before I dash off to take the family to see fireworks tonight. I weighed myself this morning and I'm down to 269--so that's my final for this challenge. I think it's pretty good, although it's short of the 263 I wanted to get to. I believe I was at 275 when we started, and wanted to lose 12 pounds...but lost 6 pounds instead. I'm working on doing some re-evaluation of my diet to see how many calories I'm taking in and what I might change to do a little better. I'm not at all bummed out about it, rather I'm approaching it scientifically.

I hope you all have an awesome 4th!
