Hey Ladies!! Welcome to summer!! Lets keep it healthy and happy with lots of losses and fun!!

I don't know what my summer goal is.. usually it center's around my Birthday ( when is August 19th), but I haven't thought that far in advance yet. 231 is my next goal weight, so hopefully that'll come and go quickly.. hehe..

My Birthday is in September and I feel the same way! I just want to WOW myself on my BDAY! I just want to feel fit, confident, and comfortable at 24 (which I will turn this year!)
I am starting Slim in 6 tomorrow... Hopefully it will help me get the energy to get to where I want to be. By September I want to weigh at least 145... thats 25 lbs. Recently I lost 20 lbs but gained 15 back!!! UGH!!!!

Here I am! Goal for me is 10 pounds, 155 by August 10 (day before I go to Ontario). I would of liked to have seen goal but all well.

Starting weight watchers (on my own) tomorrow - with Aimee? hehe

I am having a slightly crappy start to my day... the bf was up early for work and decided to let me know he's connected with an old friend of his (via facebook - damn thing!!), and I reallllly like this friend. Not romantically, but he's just a really decent guy who was always nice to me (compared to another friend who called me FAT!). So the guy is married, lives in Seattle, this is all well and good.. but this is what I've realized.. I am completely ashamed of who I have become! I am NOT fit, I do NOT take care of myself as much as I should, and I hate what I look like - it's just not me. I have let myself go beyond belief - yes I've lost 30+ pounds, but it's not enough. I hate who I am, in a physical way, also I've lost that drive I used to have (not in a weight loss way). I want to be better. And hope this realization helps carry me towards my weight loss goals. I'm aiming for 210 by Sept 1st. Thats 10 weeks, remember I am aiming high.

Courtnie - definitely starting WW with you today... DEFINITELY!

Jen - look forward to hearing about your WW's as well!

I am going to go back to sleep - hoping this post will help get all of this out of my mind and I can sleep at least for an hour more.. it was a late night!

I am awake - started my WW journal, complete with first day's weight and measurements! I don't that I am feeling better - but I am feeling resolved to get this done. Now to maintain this for a few months, hehe..

Shari - welcome back!! It's turning into a mini WW group - I didn't know there were so many out there! You goal will work itself out - maybe it's just to exercise or eat lots of fresh fruits, doesn't have to be a weight related goal. Thats only one part of it.

I exercised and am feeling pretty good from that - so thats nice :) Busy counting points, but am SO surprised that my FF plain yogurt is 2 points. So crazy! Well I am off to pack some food for work today, ttyl! I will be back tonight to post my final points for the day!

Mine is just getting weird.... the governmet thinks my name is CourTNEY - says it was never spelled CourtNIE and its impossible for my ID to say that? ANYWAY... oh and I was born in a different province... go figure, apparently its not a big deal? anyway....

oh and my first day of weight watchers is going pretty good! even though my boyfriend felt the need to cook me a very bad breakfast

Aimee ~ I had to do some research to find that out! LOL No sites were coming up for 'first day of fall' so I looked for a while and saw that the fall equinox begins Sept. 23 so.....is there anyway someone can doublecheck? Ahh yeah, I restarted WW like three weeks ago and actually have been doing good. TOM is coming in a week or two and it showed last week but I still lost (.6 but whatever). The key for me is writing down everything. Since I'm broke, I'm doing this on my own and I found this kickass printable log page, printed a whole bunch out, went to Walmart and brought a cheap little journal, and made my own WW journal. Cuter and way more pages!
My fave yogurt is the Yoplait Thick and Creamy and it's two pts too but it's worth it to me.

Courtnie ~ The government is stupid. I know, I work for them. :dizzy:

22 points for the day! yay! right on target - I went and bought myself a REAL cute notebook (after reading about aimee's haha) so I am all set! I also bought myself the new weight watchers magizine!

So now about this name thing, I called and talked to the THIRD person today and the guy was like, oh for some reason it was changed in may 2005, before then it spelt correct, let m fix it for you. He also changed it to say I was born in BC! what a headache that caused, my head still hurts... two people say my name never exisited! like etf

Courtnie - nicely done with the points!! And glad you got the same thing worked out, thats so messed up!

So me, I am higher than I should have been, I should be at 28 points a day, but ended up at 29.5. I was honestly worried that I wouldn't make it, but the bf made me a hotdog, which with the bun cost me 9 points! I won't be eating hot dogs anymore much these days! I also decided today that I won't be having whipping cream on ANY specialty coffee's anymore - such a waste of calories.

I had my weekly weigh in today and I lost 5 lbs this week :carrot: I will be happy with my loss this month if I can get to 147 by July 4. I always set my goals to high.

ok, so i need to lose about 15 lbs in 3 weeks. think it can be done if i watch the cals and fat? anyway, i guess thats a mini goal. i just got a job working @ Dillard's (a high end fashion store). and i have too look fairly decent everyday that i work. anyways, my first day is on july 17. plus i havent been able to fit into most of my business attire for a few months now and i cant afford to buy new clothes. other mini goal, drink at least 1 gal of water a day.

anyways, not my ideal job, but itll be ok for now. at least until i find something else or go back to school. we'll see. So ive noticed a few of you say you go off track when your boys fix you dinner/take you out, etc. i have the same sort of problem. actually its since ive been with this particular boy ive gained all of my weight (170 before-214 after). he had terrible eating habits and ive pretty much adopted them. i have no will power :( any tips on how to overcome this? i really just wish i had more will power!!

Angeleyes- My boyfriend has the absolute worst eating habits. However, I refuse to let myself follow in his suit. I was dating a guy when I first gained all my weight. We ate fast food everyday etc. I balloned from a size 4 to a 22. Now 4 years later I am at a size 8 and almost to my goal weight of 130. I guess seeing how horrid it could be to let myself go shocked me into not doing it again. Now if I go out with my bf < not the fast food guy>I order low carb food and if we go to friends I bring food or eat low carb like salad or whatever is there.

If I get temped I just think of how bummed I will be if I get on the scale and I gained.

Courtnie - how many points was it worth? Did you end up having it?

angeleyes - I think it could be doable - make sure you are exercising because that can cause some big changes in your body without losing all the 15 pounds. I work retail - used to work in women's clothing and learnt SO much that is was a valuable experience for me. Enjoy it - gets lots of discounted clothes, heh.

I totally gained weight with my bf - I went from 163 .. 30-31inch waist jeans, to 20/22, I have lost down to a 16, even if I'm not happy here. I gained over 100 pounts, which makes me sad to think about. But now is the time to change, and with day 2 of WW, I am feeling good still.

Nikki - if you could bottle up that willpower, wanna send me some? hehe..

I am ending my day at 30 points, not toooooo bad considering in a fit of badness I had a piece of coffee cake from Starbucks, and then some of the bf's Taquito. I added this all in, so I feel not too bad with how I'm ending. It's only +3.5 points for the week and you get 35 flex points!

I had a rough night last night. I was craving sweets so bad. I had a squirt of whip cream (1 carb) and then I was ok.

Aimee-great job on stickin to your points and it's great that you are making sure to add them in!
Nikki-i dont know how you do it! ive tried and the low carb thing just does not work for me! so i admire your strength!! im glad the whip cream held you over!!

Im doin pretty good. i ate about one hundred more cals than i was suppposed to last night. and only because i was trying to get all the cals in and was trying to stay away from fat. so i ended up eating a few more. im not too stressed though, i was on track the whole day and i guess i overcompensated a bit. i'm still at 209 today, kinda bummed about that, but its ok, i know i cant lose everyday.
all this talk about weight watchers is making me want to do it too. but im broke too, ill have to do some more research on it before i start (if i do). and i dont really have the time right now. my test is tomorrow, so most of my time is devoted to that.....IM SOOOO NERVOUS!! ive been so stressed about it, plus i think pms is kickin in on top of that...YUCK! oh well, ill survive.

eevey - hope you are holding up over there - I can't imagine what you are going thru, but always remember we are always here to listen!

Nikki - nice job working thru that craving without going overboard! When I did atkins I always had sugar free jello around, it was one of the things that helped me get thru it.

angeleyes - whats your test for? You may have already said, but I cannot remember. I got all my points stuff for free from a friend who was doing weight watchers - if it wasn't for that I wouldn't be doing it. I have a hard time with the idea of PAYING to lose weight, maybe one day I actually will. You should totally post your calories for the end of your, just because we aren't all doing the same plan doesn't mean we can't support eachother :)

Well today I am meeting with the District Manager to talk about possible locations for my new position (Assistant Cosmetics Manager), I am hoping I won't be going TOO far! We'll see. Well gals, I am off to shower and make food for work, ttyl!

I feel like I should because I will prob be too sick tomorrow to do it, but on the other hand I feel like I shouldn't cuz it might be too much and make me sicker?

So all went well today. The district manager met me, did a mini interview and decided that yah I should be promoted. He had the final say of course, so that was good. And then they decided which store I would go to for my training. I am going to the store my boyfriend is at - he's transfering back to where I am now. It's always too good to be true to work so close to home. I will be getting TONS of gratis (aka swag, free stuff), so that will actually be quite exciting for me. I love free product - especially cosmetics!!

I stayed on plan today as well, I just need to figure out all my points. But I might be right on for today! woohoo! :)

Wow.. I can't believe I'm a manager!!! That sure happened fast..

I ended up exercising last night. I dunno if I feel better or worse yet today, the sore throat is gone a bit but my tummy hurts - I need to go to work today though because it is my bosses last day working in office (she is moving to victoria and working from home) - so we are going out for lunch and I dont wanna miss it.

As for my points yesterday, they were 20 - so 2 less. But I need the need for a big latte this morning, so I think today will be a bit over, haha
