qick post to say keep up the good work, im in the middle of a birthday party for my son (6 yo) and i ate one pice of cake at the table, i will workout after everyone goes home even though im tired as heck!!!

how are you all dong? I haven't heard much from you all, i am happy to say i am down a pound (226.5) i haven't seen this weight in about 5 years! Even thought i had a birthday party i still did everything and it was hard. I am trying to teach myself that no matter what the day the rules are still the same. this challenge is a hard one..i know that... but i will finish it if it kills me! I must say, it is getting a bit easier to eat at the table and not eat past 8:30...its the workouts that kill me . 3 carrots down and 11 to go

Well, yesterday was tough... my 6 year old had his birthday party TOO!! I didn't have cake... but I had chinese take out for lunch, and ice cream at the party. Not so bad but not so good.
Today I am going to try and change up what I'm eating.

Hey guys. Sorry for the late post. College is killing me. Ther's just too much work and being in my senior year doesn't help. Yesterday was tough and i almost caved in again but i didn't, so i'm happy about that. I didn't go to gym yesterday and the gym closed early today. It's okay though becuase I have until wednesday to get in my last 3 workouts. My TOM is almost over so at least i'll be able to exercise better. Will probably post later about how today is going. I've done well today and i said " no thank you" when my friend offered me cookies. Good luck to everyone.

Zuluprincess- oh i know about the college deal, i had my son in my Jr. year it about killed me (i got a BA in education)...oh the stress of pounding out those papers in font of the computer..i use to eat like a mad women.

Canadan mom-keep going !

I think we all are doing good...i'm starting not to miss the tv too much..i talk to my 3 month old while I'm eating...she just coo's and smiles...My 6 year old thinks I'm nuts..but I'm felling sooo much better about myself ..my energy level is at a all time high .

I'm up bright and early AM here, have to get my ds off to school and the 3 month old dressed I did good yesterday...the hardest part was the exercise, i just cant bring myself to get motivated I'm doing good other then that, i really feel like i can get threw this Hope every earned their carrot...dont give up please, this challenge is a big one, i know once i master these three task i be OK!

I got my carrot for yesterday because everything ended up going alright. Today is another story. I had 2 donuts and i've had too much starch since this morning. I kinda overdid the bread, crackers and rolls. Anyway, the final deviation i made was eating while reading the thread... Anyway, i'm going to work hard to get my carrot tomorrow. Good luck to everyone and great job for all the people on their fifth carrot. Ciao for now...

i did well yesterday I almost slipped today I took a bite of my apple at the computer then ran to the table my kids laughed at me so I am conting it as a made it cause I never chewed an swallowed if that is ok.

hey guys...sorry i havent been posting ive had internet problems Anyways ive been doing good with my meals but workouts are hard to get in...my boss has uped my hours so im working all the time. Well I haven't done well on the challenge at all. Last Friday we had a major blowup here in which my own father felt the need to shove me. I had 3 beers that night, and ever since I have eaten in front of the tv or in the car at least once a day. I have however been able to continue to cut back my portion sizes and get moving even if it hasn't been an official 30 minutes of exercise. I weighed yesterday just outta curiosity and found that I was down 3 pounds...so I guess I'm doing something right. And even better news. Someone else has noticed my weight loss. My husband and I went to church to see our boss get baptized Sunday, and our boss' wife mentioned that she thought I had lost some weight. I actually have lost about 10 pounds since I saw her last...and it felt great that someone noticed (and I mean someone who doesn't see me every day or doesn't know I'm doing this). Yall have a great day and I'll be back later.

Today wasn't too bad. The food part is going okay but i haven't had a chance to go to the gym. I had a test and an assignment for today and i had 3 assignments for monday. I know that isn't a good excuse but there's not much i can do about it now. I just wanted to know whether i still get my carrot for yesterday and today or not. Just to let you know, i live on a small campus so we walk EVERYWHERE. I usually don't include that as excercise but i do get in at least 2 to 4 kiolmeters a day so i don't think it's too bad when i don't exercise. Anyway, just let me know what your thoughts are...
