Me too! I can't stand the Quaker Instant Cardboard varieties, but love the kind you have to cook for a while. It's a wonderful, healthy comfort food that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy

Hey ladies!! How is everyone?! Chris, great minds think alike! Totally cool that we all are eating oatmeal at the moment.. I have never ate oatmeal in my life until a few weeks ago , where I just bought some on a whammy. Last night I bought a wireless router so I can take my labtop anywhere in my cracker box apartment. LOL But hey, now I can post while I'm in bed! I'm anxiously waiting for Elf to come out on DVD and one of my friends at work gave me free tickets to see Alexander.. I'm a sucker for historic movies.
Tracy and Kat- How was your weekend?? How's the weather?
I just got up so I'm still semi-functional.. No clue what the day holds, and I think I like it that way.
Love you all!
Vanessa

Default Morning gals!

Oooo, looks like there was some mod action and I missed out! Thanks to whomever removed the trolling! And to Suzanne!

Chris, I saw The Incredibles. Secon time, actually, since we saw a preview the weekend before. I love Pixar!

Vanessa, Please keep us updated and I hope everything goes well! DH would be jealous of your wireless router - he wants one.

Friday was a late night and we didn't go to bed until 3 am. Went to dinner with a group of friends, saw the movie, then drinks afterward. So yesterday was a lazy day - Playstation 2, Everquest, TV...nothing productive at all.

Today we are just getting up and are heading to our diner in a bit. Friends may join us. We're seeing friend this evening, too.

Have a great day!

Ah, this is better. Fat free plain yogurt with berries and Splenda. Much better. I'll try the oatmeal again tomorrow.

Gosh, DH and I haven't been to the movies in forever. Last one was - Oh goodness, it was Prisoner of Azkaban. I'm wanting to see Bridget in a few weeks. Hopefully we can work something out with my parents to babysit.

I'm beginning to panic at the thought of foods I can't eat. Some kid was talking about pinneapple pizza in the nursery at church this morning, and I went through the "OMG!!! I CAN'T EAT PIZZA ON THIS DIET!!!" stuff in my head. But then logic settled me down. Papa John's isn't going out of business anytime soon. I can eat pizza, just not every other day, and I'm going to hold off for a while until I'm in the habit of eating healthier food. So no reason to panic.

DH and I are pretty good - he's pleased with the election results, which makes him a whole lot easier to live with than if he weren't. Oh - Matt's awake. BBL.
