Default Snow blues

These snow days are ruining my diet attempts. I tend to do lousy when I am at home. At work, the food is made for you so its easy to make good choices. Also the snow stresses me out, which makes me eat.

Oh man I hear ya! I'm in PA and we don't see the sun, let alone the aweful snow for months on end either! I'm stuck indoors and just "pick" all day. I the sun, and I need to be able to get out move it!

Yoga mat and some floor work always gets me out of it. That way I'm still moving, y'know?

Summer is just around the corner!

I've started noticing recently that when I'm colder, I'm probably more anxious, which means I'm more likely to eat. Sometimes just noticing it and putting on a sweater helps. Of course, I live in Florida, so the cold's not that hard to escape...

i know exactly where you're coming from! i'm living near buffalo ny, and the winter is so depressing. i turn to food for comfort and to ease the boredom of being stuck in my apartment.

i'm starting to count-down the days until springtime, and it's not too far away. and i imagine myself wearing cute spring clothes, and it helps keep me grounded!

we can do this!

I'm just outside Boston (with more snow than them). I struggle with the winter blues. The exercise does help some, though not enough to suit me. Just keep dreaming of how good you are going to look as you emerge like a butterfly in cute clothes, slim and healthy come spring.
