5 days binge-free! Some wine last night gave me the munchies, but I didn't give in! Thanks for all the inspiration and support, everyone.

You had WINE, and were able to resist! WOW, I'm impressed. Wine is always my undoing. I'm always better off if I can eat before I drink.....then I lose the desire to drink, and can stay in control. Tonight is Saturday, often a wine night....wish me luck!

P.s. I myself am about four days binge-free. Whew, it's a constant battle. But it works, doesn't it?

Congrats To All of You Staying Binge Free! Today is my "start over" day but I am feeling great!

Winding down a binge-free week. I did eat out yesterday at a wonderful Mexican restaurant, but I didn't "clean my plate." I went out to eat with a very understanding friend. She kept the chips closer to her so I had to really stretch if I wanted one!

I lost control yesterday afternoon and overate bread and nuts.

Day 1 for me again.

Starting day 7. Trying not to celebrate by overeating.

Well, I had dinner at the parents' last night. I didn't go into a full-out binge, but I did eat more than I planned. So I'm heading back to Day 1, because accountability is what I need for myself.

Thanks inthemidst. I did slip a bit last night--predictably, after WINE! There was chips and onion dip around. You know the rest.

The wine really is a problem. I so enjoy a nice glass or two to unwind on the weekend. I really don't want to live a totally austere, controlled life. But it becomes sooooo hard to keep my eating in check.

Evenings, for me, are a battle in general. By 5 pm, I am STARVING. If I had my druthers, I'd wolf down my Lean Cuisine or other light meal then, and then I'd be pretty well able to fight off temptation for the rest of the night. I do this whenever I can, and it's my best defense against nighttime bingeing.

BUT--I have a family of males, and they need me to cook a big square meal for them, and they don't want to eat it until at least 6:30. So this is a bit of a drag, and messes me up. Anyone else have this problem, involving the constant handling of food?

Day 1 for me again. I ruined it yesterday (bickered w/ hubby most of the day, no excuse, but I ran for food after each segment of arguing).
