Trying to stay strong...
I'm still in the first week of the new diet. Protein shakes for breakfast and lunch then a sensible dinner. It's been hard, but I'm staying strong. I had a huge temptation yesterday. I went into the kitchen at work to refill my water glass and sitting on the counter is a Mexican buffet. Chips, salsa, rice, beans... oh how they called my name.
I reminded myself why I am doing this, and refilled my water glass and went back to my office and my celery for my snack. I need to remind myself of that moment and how I was able to say no to the Mexican goodness.
I so want a chorizo breakfast burrito right now, but here I sit, sipping my shake and knowing I'm doing the right thing. Thanks for listening to my rant. :P
