AWESOME Post, R&R! Never would have guessed you were so young! Went thru a lot in my younger years myself (I'm 46 now.) You sound with it and love that you are working on your Best Self!

Monday 16th I returned from a 2 week vacay - part of which was spent in the middle of nowhere - river camping. I had another moment of clarity out there enjoying Mother Nature and am holding onto that fiercely this time.

So weird that during this vacation I picked up some Harry Potter books - don't know why I did other than I wanted some recreational "summer" reading that had NOTHING to do with anything real life, ya know? But definitely an odd reading choice for me. Anyhoo-I'm so addicted now! I read the first 4 and just now started Book 5 and read your Post and freaked! No giving away clues, lol!

Had another stare at the pantry and fridge in the Wee Hours. This time I started LAUGHING and spoke out loud into the quiet nite: "Auddie, WTH are you doing here?" Didn't even drink water - just laughed at how ridiculous that I was standing there - not even HUNGRY?

Once again - went right back to bed and feel awesome that it was no big thang!

Tx for being here All!

PS: What you want to look for in your studies is not "nutritionist," r&r . . . the field of nutritionist is highly unregulated - basically anyone can call themselves that and you get some real whack jobs as a result.

Look for programs approved by the ADA (American Dietetic ***.) for: Registered Dietitian. I was one year away from completing my degree (It's under Bach of Science) - when life took a different turn for me. Beware even of "dietiCian" programs - also unregulated. It's a fascinating field that I sometimes wish I hadn't left. There's so many areas to work in should your interest change. Best of Luck!

I've had a pretty good week. My binge tendencies were tame. They came out when I ate 2 Smart Ones desserts instead of one and when I had 3 pieces of pizza (even though it was healthier than regular pizza) However, in both cases, I had enough calories left. I'm actually having a bit of trouble getting to my goal, which is currently 1,800 (to lose 2.5 lb/week). The highest day I've had is 1,770.

My urges to binge have been low, and the last 2 days there wasn't a desire at all. In fact, when I was at my hungriest today, I was craving salad!!

Now it's Sunday, just have to make it through the day for it to officially be a week I'm pretty proud of!

Great job justsharing! . . . my binge urge was tame to non-existent ALL WEEK until late in the Wee Hours . . . stressful night at the salt mine last night . . . hub returned after a few days out of town . . . found myself with a platefull of taco pie and a bowl of chips and dip b4 I knew it around 4:30am.

Nonexistent urges . . . to tame urges . . . to . . . KAPOW!

Remember discussing last time I was a member here . . . I just really need to realize that MY HUSBAND is a TRIGGER!

*shrug*

*shrugging it off*

*moving on with knowledge*
