Goodness.. actually im doing a lil better now.. normally these crazy "wild eyed sugar cravings" go away after a few minutes.. if i can just quiet the fat girl down and listen to the skinny one.. it helps.. LOL..

Im so glad i had this place to come to though.. saved the day..

I'm joining in on phase one. Started 2/9/06.

It was really hard for me yesterday starting. But I made it through. Today I was very proud that I was already on day two. I feel energetic. I kept my mind of the no-no foods by keeping busy. You know house cleaning, interacting with the little ones and shopping of course. But plenty of temptation while out. I didn't cave and am very happy about that. I'm already looking forward to day three. I love how the days just add up. I'm am going to try really hard to stick to the 20 grams of carbs for two months.

I'm glad this thread was started. I don't feel alone at all now in this phase.

I signed up for the fit meal tracker. I didn't like how I couldn't get it to take an Atkins bar and input all the info without it counting all the carbs that don't count. Just wanted it to count the net carbs. Oh well. I will check out some others. I do like the journal. It's fun to keep track of how I'm feeling and what I do to get through the day.

well i had a small victory today.. after a horrible time with cravings last night.. (see above) I woke up this morning to find i had dropped from 278.5 to 277... that was two days.. i really think i NEED to weigh daily just to know where i am.. last night I was imagining that i had GAINED or something.. not logical i know.. but it is "fat girl logic" that gets me in trouble.

In other good news.. these 24's i had so much trouble squeezing into.. well.. i slid them off last night without unbuttoning them !! I think i could fit some 22's but dont have the time/money/want to.. to go and buy a pair.. PLUS.. ive a real problem with tight jeans.. hate the tummy roll that pokes out of the waist band.. anyway.. im in a super good mood and off to have my date with an awesome omelete..

This place really saved my skin last night.. im so glad its around..

Thank you for the warm welcome.

This morning I had:

salmon with melted butter, salt and pepper
coffee with tbsp of 1 gram of carb a serving creamer (then tossed the drink out half way, didn't really like it)

Everyone!

Just wanted to pop in and tell everyone Good Luck for today.. Stick your goals and remember that YOU CAN SUCCEED! We choose each and every aspect of our day..choose to be a winner for the day, choose to keep fighting the battle and choose to be happy that you are a strong person, challenging our weight and we will be victorious !!

I know it gets hard, cravings are bad.. and poor eating habits are so ingrained into our lives that they are very hard to break.. My hs basketball coach used to say that a habit is made in 21 days.. .. 21 days is nothing girls.. and neither is the 2 weeks induction.

We owe ourselves two weeks out of our life dont we? We owe it to ourselves to at least "See" if this could really work for us.. and if it doenst.. well then.. two weeks is only a "blink" of time.. Better than two weeks of GAINING.

Remember to love yourself enough to help yourself!!!!!

(okay thats it.. im done!! ))

You have such a way with words.

I needed that; I am in the middle of a craving for sweet.
I just got finished with lunch; it is crazy.
Maybe it is HABIT that makes me want to eat something.
I guess I will TRY and let it pass. Oh BOY it has got a grip on me.

have a good day gals!

Hi ladies

So far today I've eaten:

salmon w/butter, salt and pepper

Atkins bar

coffee with creamer (tossed out half way through)

tuna w/mayo and plain pork rhinds

dinner will be drumsticks seasoned with salt, pepper with Franks Red hot for the hot wing type of taste (mmm)

I feel really good right now. I feel like I've been melting some fat. My pants are loose in the thighs. This is day three and I'm excited about reaching day four.

My face has definitely slimmed down. It was pretty puffy.

Checking back in with my excercise effort.

Just did an hour on the treadmill. I've never stayed on that long. It said I burned 41 carbs and 318 calories. My husband was worried I would burn myself out for future workouts. I really was planning on doing thirty minutes. Then I thought why stop when I feel I could still go. Then when I approached 45 minutes I thought about burning this fat right off me. I just want it gone.

I'm glad your all here for support. It definitely helps.

I should probably give a few tidbits about me. Of course, my name is Stacy and I live in Oregon. I am a sahm to two little ones. They alone are a good work out. I weighed 129 lbs June 2000 when I got married, then got preggo and ate everything available. The day I went gave birth I weighed 187lbs after that I got down to 142 lbs. Then when my daughter was five months I got pregnant with my son. After this pregnancy my lowest was 155 lbs. Then we moved around a bunch and live with my in-laws for four months and I put on another 20 something and it has steadily creeped up to 198 lbs. So my entire marriage I have been over weight. I really would love to lose this weight before my next anniversary.
