Default Did you exercise today?

Alright, here it is. Lets put what we did, be it walking, dvd's(please name the dvd in case we might want to look into it) weights or cardio type equipment.

Does anyone count cardio minutes per week? I had done this before, but my back went wonky. Im just curious

Well, no exercise for me today, I spent all my afternoon, cooking for the gang I had for supper.

Wont be any exercise tomorrow either, we have a 2 hr drive to the funeral, then 2 hrs back.

How about you ladies???

30 minutes of Pilates so far (from memory, as I'm realllllly sick of Mari Winsor's voice, lol), but the night's still young.

I would love to join curves. But have to settle for what I can do here. And unless you count running errands or taking the tree out then I've not exercised. I'm hoping to start that tomorrow. Don't think I can squeeze it in today. But would like to. I need to get back on the exercise (*gasp*!! Did I Say that??????? ) wagon here!!!

OK, going to try to update this fast while the kids are eating breakfast. Otherwise it will get too far behind.

Took Jan. 1 off, not because it was NYD, but because it was Sunday. Going to take Sundays off for now to give my body a break for 1 day...till I'm in better shape. Then I'll push for all 7 days of the week. I've also noticed that my weight rarely changes when I exercise every day, but if I take a day off, the scale moves the next morning.

Jan. 2
*20 mins. David Snively's Interval Step Training
*30 mins. Sexy Arms Workout (weights)
*30 mins. Crunch's Boot Camp Training
*10 mins. Pick Your Spot Pilates

Holy cow, could I feel my legs after the Boot Camp video. After the step, my legs are burning for a bit, but it goes away...this was a deep, in the muscle ache. Guess I went a little too hard today.

Jan. 3
Muscles were still sore - couldn't even do a knee lift LOL. So, took it easy and did...
*30 mins. WATP 2 Mile
*10 mins. Abs of Steel

Since it was such a beautiful day, the kids & I went out for a walk for about 1 1/2 hrs. Was at a snails pace, but I'm sure it burnt off a calorie or 2 .

I would love to join Curves too, but (a) for some reason they want you to pay to go there and (b) nowhere to leave the kids. So even if I had the money, I couldn't go anyway, except every other weekend when the boys are with their dad and that's not worth the money. Plus I think they're closed Sundays anyway. So I'd be paying for 2 visits per month.

LOL Tipsy...I have to turn off the volume on my WATP video for the same reason .

Lacey, Sorry you couldn't walk today, but & I'm sorry if this sounds like a really stupid question, but why can't you walk if you're DH isn't home?

Have a great workout day everyone!!!

Wasn't much, but I'm out of shape again. Did the 1 mile WATP tape. Didn't even dig out the new tapes. Afraid of what will happen if I do

I got 3 miles in this afternoon anyway! so nanny nanny on dh!!

Stacie: I have a 3 year old and an 11 year old and wouldn't dare take them walking on the shoulder of the road with me for 3 miles. I like to walk early in the morning before they wake up
