Didn't have a chance to step on the scale. Too busy getting ready to go. I'm taking a breather in getting breakfast eaten and then I'm on my way. I think the lightning & thunder & rain have stopped. Hopefully it's done for the weekend...or at least until tomorrow afternoon

I thought about you yesterday Brenda when I was watching the news. Are you very far from where the tornadoes hit? Im glad your doing alright.

We got just a bit of the storm just after supper last night, it got really dark really fast, then got really warm...kinda scary. It didnt last long though.

Things are good here, Im off for my haircut this morning. Hopefully I'll be able to explain what I want better to this hairdresser.

Last night I was watching tv and I decided on getting my candles out again, just for the smell. I have this thingy that you put a tea light candle in and it melts a hunk of wax that you put on the top of it... I don't know what they are called but boy do they smell wonderful. I had banana bread melting and boy it made the house feel like an fall day. Got it at ACMoores craft store.

Its gloomy and humid here in jersey today, but they say w/the rain thats expected today the temps will cool off..yeah! I like cooler weather but its sad b/c the summer is almost to an end WAAAAAAAAAH lol.

Today I must finish laundry and clean DD's room. Then maybe I'll take her to the jugle gym place in town where she can burn some energy.

The Jungle gym place sounds like a great idea Leenie! I need to think of something like that for my dd today. The 2 little girls she plays with are both grounded today......for not cleaning their rooms

Rained alot yesterday, but so far today, its not too humid, but sun shiney

Food is about the same, but Im just about ready to get back 100%.

Robin: How'd your haircut go? There were tornado's about 3 miles or so from our house. Once again we didn't hear that they were near until AFTER the fact!!! Then there were a couple more around our area but not as close as that one. We were in the basement anyway. It was kind of freaky and we lucked out (Thank God!!) again. Well, except for the wet basement!

Leenie: How'd the jungle gym go?? Sounded like fun!

Well, I survived the outdoor training. Barely. If you call 4 hours of sleep surviving. I'm about to fall over. And of course tomorrow is a BRAND new day of eating decent!!! But dang if it wasn't fun learning to cook THAT food over fire . Then add to that there's more drama and stress with that GS troop I took over. Danged if I don't hope this gets straightened out soon!!! So I'm off to shower off the soot and grime and TRY and stay awake for at least another hour
