Default Splenda

hey gang...

my hubby's work health and fitness email newsletter just sent this link about splenda to us: http://www.janethull.com/newsletter/...e-go-again.php

Has anyone seen that and seen a rebuttal about it? I thought splenda was the best....

Argh! there are always going to be fear mongers out there who take any information they can find and use it as a half-truth just to....I don't know what their reason is...everyone knows that the amount they feed to rats, if it were converted to a like amount in humans would be HUGE amounts...way more than a human could ever eat....

Personally, I think artificial sweetners aren't good for you, but I also think if you use it sparingly and in moderation it should be okay.

I do however, strongly feel that children should NOT be eating this stuff. But thats JMHO.

It boils down to...what IS good for you? They claimed apples were no longer good for you due to the die or something or other. Milk isn't good for you because of the hormones they give cows. Air isn't good for you because it's got pollutants. Are they really going to turn around and say yup, this stuff IS good for you.

I wouldnt mind if they reported it without skewing the data to make it unrealistic...I mean I know that putting artificial things in my body isnt good for me.....and probably risk for risk putting sugar into me is worse....I guess the rule is moderation...but it just irks me to watch someone takes anything that gives people hope and run it into the ground.
