Pixie, Lori:

Marie: Peak season as we call it around here is about ready up north. MA will not change for a few more weeks. I hear that NH has almost hit peak, not sure if the southern part of Maine has yet. Columbus Day weekend is really the biggest time to see the foliage. It really is something to see. I should see if I can dig up a picture or two to show you how gorgeous it can be. BTW....the people up north in NH, VT and ME call the tourist who come to see the foliage....Leaf Peaking Geaks. Western MA has some absolutely stunning scenery this time of year. Oh gosh you could get me going forever on the foliage....I love it....doesn't last long enough though then the snow hits

Jules: Usually DH has the scraps made into bacon or hot dogs. He saves some for himself because he makes his own sausage (DELICIOUS!!) . One of the chop shops (they cut up deer, beef, pigs, etc. Plus they do processing) around here makes THE best venison bacon. This year DH has 2 bow tags and he'll have 2 gun tags...plus oldest DD will have 2 gun tags. We're going to have venison coming out of our ears! Oh, forgot the crop damage tag DH gets to fill!! Do we eat it all?? YUP!!! Yummy!!

TG: Congrats on having a trip to Vegas paid for. I went there once---I was 5 months pregnant. The minute I hit Vegas turf my feet swelled so much I had to go buy moccassins cuz I couldn't wear my tennis shoes!!! And then when we were returning to the airport to catch our flight we were late....so ever see a fat (I looked like I was 9 months) pregnant woman run?? Not pretty

Jane: Well dang. Sorry there's nothing that's helping. Too bad there wasn't some magical herb you could take to knock you out. Hope you sleep decent soon! May I ask why winter is a bad allergy month?? And your scenery sounds absolutely breathtaking!!! I guess the further north from us you go the better the leaves are. I guess they're something to see during Fall! I'm hoping to take a weekend to see that...and bring my camera

Pixie:
Lori:

Marie: YOU'RE calling US crazy? Pot calling the kettle black much? Sounds like you'll be going to the beach And sure, spoil my fun by double dog daring! HMPH!!

Well, I've no reason NOT to stay OP today. I didn't get invited to go out to eat. Well, I DID---by MY bosses...but it didn't sound like it from the company rep. So I came home, had a couple hot dogs, a hamburger and a couple beef jerky strips. Dang it, I was hungry!!! So I'm hoping to make meatballs for supper. So OP I will be today. One disaster diverted.

Brenda: I am allergic to EVERYTHING! But the things I am most allergic to are around in the fall and winter......oak (leaves falling) dust (forced hot air in the house) mold (don't even want to go there....where is this mold?) and of course the dreaded dust mites....those things gross me out! Grasses and smoke are a killer too....if we build a fire in the fireplaces I am screwed. You asked!

Pixie GAVE INTO CHOCOLATE!!!! The C word!

Pixie: Don't feel bad. Just start over and go on from there.

Oh NO!!!! Not the dreaded "C" word. Hm...chocolate? Carbs?

Wow Jane, how do you manage with allergies to everything? I have noticed that in the winter the youngest DD used to get TERRIBLE colds. And it usually started whenever we turned the furnace on. The past few years we've been buying more expensive (Yikes---$15 a piece!) furnace filters and I'll be darned if she hasn't had less colds!!!

Evening all!

Jane: Did you ever have to take the drops that you put under your tongue for allergies? My mom and brother used to take them. I don't know how much good they did...that's the good ole University of Iowa hospitals allergy clinic for ya.

Brenda: Thanks for the info. My mom was really curious. They are always looking for new and different venison stuff.

Pixie: Don't feel bad about a candy bar, just get back OP. Once you choose this WOE you have to make a choice and stick to your guns.

Marie: You are so lucky to have cool places within driving distance. I'm so sick of looking at pine trees and armadillos

TG: How was your workout today?

Lori: Hello back attcha

See ya'll tomorrow...one day closer to being fit!

Hugs
Jules
