Wink DreamFields Pastas

I went ahead and tried their penne pasta. It actually tastes pretty much like normal pasta. Maybe a little wheatier. I didn't have any "sugar alcohol" side effects yet, like we thought but it sure does seem to be taking a while to digest.

I think it will be alright for a once in a while thing. It was a nice change for me and I enjoyed it.

I never was crazy about spaghetti. Now lasagna is another matter!!!! lol. Not sure what the difference between the two is. Maybe when I make spaghetti I should stick it in the oven instead of making it on the stove

I'm still concerned about their math. Would I really be eating only 5 carbs or 35? I wish the ing FDA would hurry up and start regulating this stuff!

Brenda - Mission makes low-carb lasagne noodles. I've tried their macaroni and their rotini and it's really good. I bet the lasagne is just a good!

I'll have to look for those. I'm afraid though that I won't get it very LC though. And portion control and me don't mix. I need to learn that also!!

Hmm, maybe I will look for the Mission pastas. I was worried about the math too but I didn't notice and stall or anything. Wierd. Them and Atkins were the only two available.
