Oh boy Eileen!!!! No - we we not really in a flood zone and have had no trouble. We do have a pump though on our pool cover pumping off the excess so it doesn't overflow. But I went through your area this AM and realized lots of roads were blocked off. We headed up Route 17 to pick up our oldest at Bible Camp in the Catskills...it was beautifully sunny up there. Very weird. I think the abundance of rivers around you are really suffering. GOOD LUCK!

Kim: So good to see you back!! And, congratulations!! I'm so excited for you!! I agree with the Dannon yogurt and the Mission tortillas -- great choices. I had some fairly decent low-carb bagels, but I can't remember the name brand. I'll check the next time I'm at the store. Welcome back, and congrats!!

Take care,
Jina

Kim, why not try substituting English Muffins for the bagels? Still carbs (but you can get whole wheat ones) but fewer per serving.

I know what it's like... you have to eat what you can, though, and this phase will pass and then you can focus on food a little more.

I went through so many phases - my grape juice phase, my lemon drop phase, my Salt & Vinegar potato chips phase... Could NOT eat meat almost the entire time - it just grossed me out. Drank a LOT of milk (which in hindsight was an error on my part as my dd is now anaphylactic to milk) but it was what I wanted.

Don't worry about too much. Eat what you can. Even ice cream has *some* protein in it. LOL!! The only thing that settled my stomach was a McDonald's Ice Cream cone. Couldn't be from anywhere else. =)

So happy to hear about the pg. How exciting!!!
