Jane: I've always drank like a horse, so I haven't noticed a difference.

Morti: Another tall girl! You're doing great -- you're not far from your goal!

Lekker: May I ask what you have against the Lightning?? It seems like you're the fan of whoever they're playing against! Oh, and procrastinating is my best quality! (Or worst. However you want to look at it.) I've gotten away with it, too -- all through college, and now my boss may be a worse procrastinator than me, so I'm all set!

Star: I was a goody-goody in high school, too. I finally let loose in college and haven't stopped since! Everyone else in high school was out partying and going crazy, and I was either studying or doing something really daring, like watching a PG movie (My mom didn't let me watch anything else! ) Talk about sheltered!

LOL @ PG movies! That was totally me! I didn't really go crazy until I hit 23, but I'm sure making up for it now!

Too funny but congratulations on the size 10. I will be happy when I get back down to size 20, size 12-14 is my goal.

Yes, but that last 10-15 lbs just kills me! I haven't been at my goal weight since I had my first child 22 yrs ago! Need to exercise instead of sitting on my tush in the evenings.

Wow, you guys have been busy this morning!!!

Don't have time for all the individuals, but glad my words were enjoyed yesterday.

Jina - glad you enjoyed my Home Improvement Diet. It was totally fun to write and I have been thinking about doing a follow-up at some point. Things have gotten a little better though dh is still unemployed and we are totally, completely broke. I didn't pay bills this month just so I could pay the mortgage next month. It really, really sucks.

Things with dh have gotten better, a little, but he is still depressed about a few things and about not having a job. I'm learning how to be more direct and making absolutely sure he understands me.

The head of it all came last week when, with no job and no money, he went and decided to get another dog. Wasted ANOTHER $25 we don't have and then chose to tell me at the grocery store where I was trying to make $15 go as far as I could. I just broke down, completely, in the frozen foods aisle and he realized that he really just didn't "get it." After several long, late-night conversations, he is starting to "get it" but won't really be there for a while. I have to lower my expectations a bit.

On the upside, I am going to be on vacation next week (which also means no internet access - unless we get the computer hooked up) and I will have lots of time with my wonderful dd and time to get things done around the house.

Glad to hear about Mrs. H's (the other Lisa) pregnancy. Yep, it totally saps your strength!! I remember - my friends were soooo worried about me and wondered if something was wrong. Then she got pg and was experiencing the same thing and finally understood just how tired it really does make you to be pg.

Star! Babysitting is enough b/c for me. LOL!! Of course, now that I have a 2yo toddler, I can't imagine life without her. You'd adjust - but those trips to the bar would have to end.

Ha, I'm still mostly a goody-goody, at least in Canada. (A few years back, my dad even told me to 'let my hair down'!) But I make no guarantees/claims for when I am abroad. Any corruption of me began in the Netherlands. But what can you do when beer is cheaper than coke?

Jina - ha ha...it's just fun to be against Tampa since I know that you're down there! But otherwise, I don't even care who wins the cup (er...don't let anyone up here know that! I may be deported!)...I have a bit of a soft spot for Calgary since they are in Canada. Although, if I'm not mistaken, there are more Canadians on Tampa than Calgary...so perhaps my logic is flawed!

I wonder if they have a Procrastinator's Anonymous club out there? I'm sure someone tried to start a club like that once, but just kept putting it off and never got around to it...ha ha...

Hey there Lisa (Story) , you got in before me...I hope that your vacation next week is great...I'm glad that things are slowly working there way out at home.

Oh brother. You've all been chatter boxes and there's NO way my demented mind can even think to catch up. I'm sitting here in front of the computer screen instead of being outside where I should be mowing lawn. Or in front of the tv TRYING to get some type of exercise into this body of mine. My excuse? It rained yup, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Crud, now I forgot what I was gonna tell you all. Oh man, my brain is really fried.

Work today dragged on forever! I put in a few applications at other places and I'm praying I can get another job lined up. I would love a change in pace thats for sure.

Tomorrow I am giving myself total freedom to eat whatever I want (for my birthday). On the menu will be chocolate cream filled long john, Culvers sourdough patty melt basket with onion rings and maybe some cheese nuggets or fries If I'm going to blow it, I'm going to do it right!
Saturday however I'll be back on strict induction to see if I can jump start my ole body in to losing again. It's fighting me tooth and nail, and doesnt want to drop below 203. I must have been at this weight for a while or something.. I don't know I can't figure out what the problem is here. But forward ho.. I'm not giving up.

Sorry I don't have much time for personals, I want to jump in the shower and take adavantage of this sun before it hides away behind the clouds again. We are supposed to have rain from tonight all the way thru Sunday. I'm not looking forward to it in the least.

Okies I'm out of here girls, have a great day!

Lisa (Story) and Star ~ Ummmm, I didn't get the rulebook about not going to the bar after the kiddies. We still go out about every weekend. And at least once a month crawl home in the weeee hours of the morning. But, of course, it helps to have lots of in laws who love their nephews and tons of teenage girls in the neighborhood whose mom's don't care HOW late they babysit!!!

Jeez. Answered the phone and DH says "what's wrong". I'm like nothing why, and he's like "you sound like crap" Jeez. Then he proceeded to ask if I went to the doc (no) and why not (cuz I was just there) and said I should go tomorrow (we'll see). He then tells me he's on his way to see the FIL. Ok. I figured that. So I hang up with him and the phone rings. MIL wants to know if DH is going to visit his father. Hmm. Told her he was on his way as we spoke. She's like oh, ok. He'll at least get to see him for a little while. I'm about to have a conniption when she goes on and says "He's COMING HOME!!!!" WOOHO0!!!!!!! Best news I heard all day (um, that comes right after I try and start the lawn mower and the blade doesn't start. So I couldn't mow the lawn).
Thank you ALL for your thoughts and prayers
