  • Julie - I love cemetaries, too. I used to live near one and would go walking there all the time. For some reason, I find them very comforting.
  • Yeah Rhonda! Very happy for both of you.
  • Thanks for the tip on Jina Star...I"ll have to ask her about it!

By the way....Guess what I did in FL???

    Got my...... BELLY BUTTON PIERCED!!!!!
  • Wa-hoooo! Careful with that, they get infected easily.

Oh! Oh! And where's the pics???
  • I want my bellybutton pierced!!!

Ok. Did I mention I absolutely DETEST clothes shopping? I KNEW there was a reason I never wanted to go and was being a chicken about it. Nope, didn't buy any new jeans. Heck. I think I need to steal my moms!!
  • Hey, ladies! It's so fun to read about everyone's weekends! Mine was lots of fun. On Friday, I went with friends to a concert on the beach. It was so much fun! Saturday was movie-watching day... none great ones to recommend, really. I liked "61," but I really like baseball. Then, on Sunday, it was real baseball. I went to the Devil Rays-A's game with friends. A guy got some great tickets from work -- three rows behind the A's dugout. And, the best news, the Devil Rays actually won!

I did great this weekend in terms of eating and exercise... until Sunday night. Then, I blew it. I have no motivation. I really, really want to lose weight, but I don't want to work for it. I know that sounds terrible, but that's how I feel right now. Maybe I need to find a new form of exercise, new recipes... something???

Oh, and I found a new apartment! I'm so excited. It's so nice and safe and the management seems great. I've had so many problems where I'm at now, so anything would be better. And, a friend of mine lives there, so that's always nice. I move in July. Is it July yet???

I don't have a ton of time because I'm behind at work, but I wanted to let Lori know that Florida is fabulous! I love it here! I will never move back to Kansas... or anywhere else for that matter. Where did you visit? Everywhere here is so beautiful. It does get incredibly humid in the summer, but it's worth dealing with because of the wonderful weather the rest of the time. I love being outside, and I can be outside 365 days/year here. It's just a fabulous place to live. I'd definitely recommend moving here. Can you tell???

Oh, and Julie: What about the Lightning?

Well, I'm off to do more work. I hope everyone is having a great Monday!

    Take care,
    Jina

    ...

I have been purposely silent on that topic.

    ...

Shoot! I was hoping that you would somehow have failed to notice the unfortunate outcome of that series.

Now I have to cheer for another team. But who? Detroit, Calgary, Toronto? Well, no, I won't cheer for Toronto unless they are the only Cdn team in the finals. Just because. Up here, if you're not from Toronto, it's sort of the unwritten rule that you dislike Toronto. So I guess that leaves whoever wins between Detroit and Calgary.

Yes. I am totally jumping fan bandwagons.

Actually, since someone I went to elementary school with plays with Detroit, I usually cheer for them (in my not-really-caring cheering sort of way that I have for the NHL), because then the Cup comes to my home town (which it did two summers ago when Detroit won)!
