Since everyone is asking about my recent focus this is what it was.....
This is what I learned about goals in the past couple weeks:
I had a teacher tell me write you goals on a piece of paper and fold it up tiny and carry it in your pocket, when ever you waver take it out and look at it. It is also a way to accomplish it. You will either get so tired of having it in your pocket all the time that you will accomplish it or just stop putting you hand in your pocket. Its a choice.
You are WAY less likely to go against a goal that is written down. Make the goals attainable so that you don't get discouraged. Then move up from there, adding to it after each is accomplished. Give it a time line so that it is real. It has to be measureable so make sure there is an exact way you can tell if you accomplished it. If some points of your goal are not attained, then the next goal work on that aspect, get it down them move on. Don't move to fast, slow and steady wins the race.
Practice the Japanese art of Kaizen, it is for self-improvment, changing things a little at a time but still changing consistantly. That is the only way to improve to constantly change, even the smallest change can make a world of difference.
Hope that helps......

That is what I have been working on the past couple weeks!
