...sorry, I don't think I quite followed that. Are they fabulous, or do they taste bad?

I get the dark chocolate ones and they are great. I do wonder if they are part of my issue with not losing. They are on my list of foods that may need to be eliminated. Frankenfoods as they like to call them on the PP board.

IMO, the Chocoperfection bars taste OK.,,but...they give me "gastric distress" issues. They are sweetened with both erythritol & ogliofrutose...I'm not clear on which one effects me. On the very rare occasion I do have chocolate...the Lindt 85% hasn't caused me any gastric or gaining issues

My DH loves them. I have had the occasional square and do find them tasty. They are cheapest to buy in the Netrition site (like 8 or 10 bucks cheaper than the regular chocoperfection site). On one occasion, right at TOM, I forgot lunch and had one in my purse that I was bringing to my boss to try (he is a serious diabetic). I ate the whole thing in my hunger and did have some...uh, gassy issues. Nothing like the horror stories I have heard about maltitol though. Just a noticable gas issue. Sorry to be gross. The occasional square doesn't do that to me though.

I go with the Lindt 85% dark also. It gives me the chocolate hit but because of the low sugar, it doesn't make me crave more. Actually, I don't think I could ever eat more than 2 squares of it and usually one square is more than enough.

Lately I've been making a little chocolate dessert with 1/4 to 1/3 cup ricotta, a spoon of cream, unsweetened cocoa and splenda. I sprinkle it with a few nuts and YUMMO! A 'dessert' that holds me all afternoon.

We have bought both kinds the raspberry and dark choc. DH loves both. The raspberry flavor is really strong though. DH's favorite treat is still sugar free jello cheesecake pudding made with 1 cup unsweetened soy milk, 1/2 cup heavy cream, a couple of heaping table spoons of whipped cream cheese and about 5 packets of true lemon or true lime. He puts frozen blueberries or raspberries on top. He could eat it every single day if I made it that often. He also likes it with grated chocoperfection bar on top.
