Good morning, heat wave here in northern NY. It's 14 degrees, yesterday was below zero.

L big salad w grilled chicken and a little feta, also a couple pieces on Chicken in Marsala sauce (maybe a 1/4 c) today same without the Marsala
D last night was grilled sausage (local butcher makes one w peppers and onions mixed in, it's yummy) and broccoli au gratin from Linda's recipes. I did not have enough broccoli so mixed in asparagus with the broc, was good too)
Tonight is DH Christmas party so not sure, likely a piece of chicken and some raw veggies w dip, it's a buffet, usually most of it is too high carb) I can't eat it even for 1 night, if I do I fall off the wagon for at least a week and crave carbs.
Snow and freezing rain this am, temperature is a balmy 21!!
Supposed to be lots of snow showers and ice this week. Will at least make the outside decorations pretty but the roads will be for crap!
I was good for the party Friday night, stayed OP. Yesterday not so good, made Christmas cookies, ate Christmas cookies (about 6 including the unbaked dough I ate too) then made a huge chicken dinner, ate a spoonful of corn - which was not worth it, so left the rest of that, also ate a small serving of mashed potatoes w gravy and stuffing both of which I finished. I am up a pound which serves me right. Back on plan today.

Yup, it's been very ugly here too. Between the Holiday gatherings, eating out, and just the basic Holiday temptations, I am having a very hard time. I feel like I should just remove myself from this challenge. I have that little devil on my shoulder that say's, it's only one time a yr, enjoy yourself, blah blah, blah... LOL! I've actually gain 3.6 lbs in this last 2 weeks, so what does that tell ya? I guess I'll just wait for TBL challeng in January and enjoy myself for once. I am tired of stressing this, counting every calorie and carb, only to be disappointed in myself or feeling deprived because I couldn't partake in whatever everyone around me did, because I have found that that just leeds me to a major binge. Sigh....
I hear ya diva - but hope you'll keep chugging along. There's no pressure here with our LC buds . . . can tell you from experience that no matter what crazy episodes I have - I always get the support and motivation I need here to dust myself off, ya know?

I did a little better staying on track yesterday and I am fixing to workout right now so hopefully I can get my big ole butt motivated to continue losing in Dec or at least maintain.
I thought someone else would have started the reg weekly chat thread. I didn't want be a "thread starter Hog" since I am pretty new to this part of the forum, so I left it up to someone else but I reckon I'll go make it now, hehe.
