I am a naked, starving pee free weigher too- everyday - but only record on Wednesdays. I chose Wednesdays because my birth group for my youngest son has a weightloss Wednesday and it helps to be accountable to them. I put my weight into my tracker at extra pounds. I didn't record this week because TOM was here and I posted a 4 pound gain - all bloat! ack!!!

I weigh in once a month after a full session of sleep. Empty stomach, empty bladder.

I weigh once a week- at the gym. I have a scale at home and both scales are pretty much the same, but the gym's scale gives me a print out with fat loss, water info, etc.

I weigh twice a day. At night, I do a bodyfat check, which might not be accurate but which will predict the amount of weight I'll lose overnight. If my bodyfat reading is low, I will lose 2-4 pounds overnight. If it's high, I'll lose 1-2. The bodyfat reading is more a hydration reading, really. The better hydrated you are, the lower that reading will be (within a range).

In the morning, I do a "real" weigh-in and compare it to the night before for any strangeness.

That allows me to see if it's real weight or water retention or what.

I usually hold onto about 2 pounds, then it falls off like magic within the first day & a half. If I've actually lost weight that week, it'll look like I lost double on the scale!

Right now I'm weighing in once a week, Fridays in the morning. But I just started a challenge on another diet forum which is weighing in every 10 days...so, we'll see which one I like better. :)
