I weigh once a week at my TOPS meeting. I find that having an "official" weigh-in makes me a bit more honest than if I were just weighing myself. I do wear the same type of clothes for weighing in. I used to wear knit pants and a t-shirt, but found that once the weather got colder, well, the knit pants weren't warm enough. I've switched to wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I know that switching from the knit pants to jeans added some weight to the first weigh-in, but at least I am warmer now!

Our meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. so I usually weigh-in around 9:45 a.m. I used to wait to eat my breakfast until after I weighed in (bringing a banana and a liter of water with me) but I found I was getting too hungry. Now I have a piece of toast at around 6 a.m. To me, as long as I continue to wear the jeans and t-shirt and eat that one piece of toast, I am still getting an accurate view of weight
lost the previous week -- just not what I would weigh naked and starving.
